That year was a beautiful piece of life I didn’t realize would one day feel so precious. We traveled often for work, France, Spain, Florida to promote Royal Caribbean cruises and everything felt full and busy. What stands out most now are the simple things. My mom and dad were still here. Texting her and calling her that I landed felt normal and now I wish I could do that again! Our original kitty crew Sunrise, Charlie, and Mr. Bob were all together! I had just moved from Southern California to the Bay Area, learning how to settle in LOL little did I know I would be moving to Minnesota 10 years later!
Life looks very different now, and looking back reminds me how quickly seasons change.

🍞 Homemade Breadsticks
🍬 2 tbsp white sugar
🧫 1 tsp active dry yeast
💧 1 cup warm water (105–115°F)
🌾 3 cups bread flour
🧂 1½ tsp salt
🧈 2 tbsp melted butter (divided)
🥚 1 egg + splash of water (egg wash)
🔥 Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes

🥛 1 cup half and half
🍗 3 cups chicken broth ( I used chicken bouillon with water)
🥦 3 cups broccoli, chopped

🧈 1/2 lb unsalted butter (that's 2 sticks plus more for the dish)
🥚 3 extra-large eggs (room temp)
🍚 2 cups sugar
🍫 3/4 cup good cocoa powder
🌾 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
🌼 Seeds from 1 vanilla bean
🍓 1 tbsp framboise liqueur (optional but makes you feel fancy if you have it 😌) I used vanilla extract because that's all I had to be honest.
🍦 Vanilla ice cream for serving

🥛 1 cup buttermilk
🥚 3 eggs
🥥 1/2 cup coconut flakes
🍮 1 box coconut instant pudding mix I used Jello Coconut Cream
🤍 1 cup chopped white chocolate chips
Frosting
🧀 8 oz cream cheese, room temp
🧈 1/2 cup butter, room temp
✨ 1 tsp vanilla
🍚 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
Bake at 350°F for 30- 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean! ✅
