Μετά την περσινή μουσικοθεατρική παράσταση «Duende / Μονάχα Αίμα Ανθίζει Εδώ», βασισμένη στον ποιητικό κόσμο του Federico García Lorca και στη μουσική του Σταμάτη Κραουνάκη, ο Στέλιος Βραχνής και η Ελένη Δημοπούλου συνυπογράφουν μια νέα πρωτότυπη σκηνική και ηχητική σύνθεση, βασισμένη στις «Τρωάδες» του Ευριπίδη και στον μουσικό κόσμο του Δημήτρη Λάγιου, με ένα 22μελές σύνολο καλλιτεχνών και τρεις μουσικούς επί σκηνής.
Οι φωτογραφίες του Απόστολου Λινάρδου – φωτογράφου της Πρότασης εδώ και επτά χρόνια – δεν λειτουργούν ως καταγραφή αλλά ως εξομολόγηση. Εκεί, μέσα σε μια ασπρόμαυρη παλέτα, το Duende έχει ήδη εγκατασταθεί: η κραυγή έχει ειπωθεί, το αίμα έχει στεγνώσει, η σκόνη του θεάτρου έχει γίνει προσευχή.
Τα σώματα στις εικόνες του δεν «παίζουν». Συγκρατούν κάτι πολύ πιο αρχαίο – ένα βλέμμα, έναν λυγμό, μια ενοχή. Τα χέρια που αγγίζουν το ξαπλωμένο σώμα θυμίζουν Pietà χωρίς Παναγία, μια εξόδιο τελετουργία χωρίς ιερατείο. Είναι η πράξη της συλλογικής ενοχής που ζητά εξιλέωση. Η γυναίκα που κραυγάζει προς τα πάνω μοιάζει με φιγούρα του Bacon ή της Kane: το σώμα της ανοίγει για να χωρέσει το φως. Κι εκείνη που πνίγει τον λαιμό της, αγγίζοντας τη δική της φωνή, γίνεται εικόνα καθαρμού — σαν τις γυναίκες των Τρωάδων που προσπαθούν να επιβιώσουν μέσα στο ίδιο τους το τραύμα.
Αυτές οι φωτογραφίες είναι το ασπρόμαυρο αντίστοιχο της κόκκινης τελετουργίας του έργου. Αν η σκηνική γραφή του Duende μεταχειρίζεται το αίμα, τη γη και το φως, εδώ αποτυπώνεται το σώμα ως μνήμη — εκεί όπου δεν υπάρχει πια χρώμα, μόνο ύλη και ανάσα. Ο Λινάρδος φωτογραφίζει σαν να προσεύχεται: οι εικόνες του θυμίζουν Goya, Capa, Tarkovsky, Artaud. Ο φακός του γίνεται προέκταση του ευάλωτου ηθοποιού, του σώματος που δεν κρύβεται, που αναπνέει μέσα στο σκοτάδι και εκτίθεται σαν πληγή.
Το Duende μιλά για εκείνη τη λεπτή γραμμή ανάμεσα στον έρωτα και τον θάνατο, ανάμεσα στη μνήμη και στη φθορά.
