For this piece, I explored the haunting beauty of using Avantgardist and Prepared Piano Percussion, creating a dark percussive waltz inspired by the surreal world of films.
Broken rhythms, prepared textures, fragile melodies and cinematic tension, all shaped to feel like a dance inside a gothic dream.
What I love most about these instruments is how they immediately push you away from the predictable and into storytelling. Every sound feels like a character, every texture suggests a scene.
This is where composition becomes atmosphere.
