Through a blend of electronica, traditional instrumentation, and AI-generated performance building on our work with concept artists and game designers, the piece investigates the “sacred frequency” of 432 Hz—not merely as a mathematical pitch, but as a decolonial tool and a biological bridge to the natural world. By weaving together Vedic geometry, Fibonacci sequences, and the ancient proto-language Ambhasha, the performance invites the audience to tune out the synthetic noise of the future and reconnect with a planetary resonance that predates global standardization.
Brought to life through a performance grant from Adelaide Fringe - thanks Jo!

Bearing a rich history of physical games and unique sports, video games were entering a market deceptively complex to break into. The earliest console generations, with Nintendos and SEGAs struggled to ever truly get a foothold in the market, outdone at every turn by Chinese knockoffs that were far more affordable and more directly accessible to stores.
After the 1990s IT Boom, laptops and desktops became mainstream, with much of India's youth at the time actively training in software development and engineering.
Games were a huge hit, just not officially. Pirated downloads and ripped CDs reigned supreme for decades. And with it came mod culture. Children growing up throughout the 2010s grew up familiar with finding modded APKs of their favorite games, oftentimes converted into experiences entirely different from the original.
To this day, there are CD pouches filled with 100s of ripped DVDs sitting in bookshelves and attics across the country, containing entire childhoods of the adults who now work as stalwarts in the modern gaming industry.

It's an opportunity to look at games as historical and cultural landmarks, and to do so not as education, but as play itself.
One day we'll look back on the past century as the defining era of video games. Going from "Spacewar!" In 1962 to the most sophisticated and complex interactive worlds that have brought tears and smiles to adult and children alike. This is the story of how we got here. How India experienced it, and how it can shape the future to come.
Stay tuned for more!
