“Interstellar skin” is a high fashion editorial exploring a body that exists in multiple states at once. The model becomes a being dissolving between dimensions. Through long exposure, the model appears doubled in some frames – like a ghost gently drifting away from her own form. Set against a nearly black midnight blue, cool tones collide with a deep bordeaux red look that acts as the glowing core of the series. The drawn light trails function like threads connecting her different states: sharp and fragile at once, present and drifting away. Her glowing skin reflects this light and intensifies the impression that she is not only shaped by light, but is becoming a source of light herself. With a sleek bun, zigzag parting and spiked ends, the hair adds an alien, futuristic edge, while the natural, glowy make-up turns the skin into a surface that reflects and emits light and grounds her presence – a quiet reminder that this apparition was once human. The series “Interstellar skin” explores identity as something layered and fluid: one body, one echo, one ghost – all existing simultaneously within the same frame.

So standen wir auf einem Dach mitten in Paris, der Eiffelturm im Blick, warmes Licht auf der Haut, Ruhe in der Luft… Und genau in dem Moment, als wir fertig waren, brach der Himmel auf. Regen, Donner, Blitze. Als hätten wir die letzten Sekunden eines perfekten Tages eingefangen.
Diese Bilder werden für mich daher immer ein besonderes Gefühl tragen, ein Gefühl, das über den perfekten Moment hinausgeht. Für mich sind sie „mehr“, als nur schön: Sie tragen ein Gefühl, eine Spannung, den Moment, kurz bevor wir alle total durchweicht wurden. Editorial, echt, nicht wiederholbar.
