I don’t think people realize how much nature influences my art and the way I see the world.
Every so often, I go find water, trees, mountains, or somewhere quiet enough to hear my own thoughts again.
This past week was filled with long drives to Whistler, hiking up to Garibaldi Lake, stopping at Shannon Falls, watching the sunset at Whytecliff, and taking in all the little moments in between.
I think inspiration comes easier when I stop forcing it. Sometimes it’s not about sitting down trying to create something. Sometimes it’s just letting yourself exist somewhere beautiful long enough for your mind to open back up again.
