De afgelopen tijd liep ik vast in mijn creativiteit. Ik voelde dat er iets moest veranderen. Sommige onderdelen van mijn huidige werk begonnen te stagneren: messing ringen die niet soepel om de schilderijen gingen, epoxy die niet goed droogde… Het gaf me niet langer de voldoening die ik er voorheen uit haalde 😔
Steeds sterker voelde ik dat ik een nieuwe weg wilde inslaan. Een weg die ik lange tijd spannend vond. Een leeg, wit doek op een ezel zetten en vanuit mezelf iets schilderen voelde voorheen als een brug te ver.
Maar nu voel ik in elke vezel van mijn lijf dat dit precies is wat ik wil gaan doen ✨ Alleen al de gedachte eraan geeft me een warm en enthousiast gevoel van binnen.
Ik ben er klaar voor 🙆🏼♀️ en kan niet wachten om mijn nieuwe werken met jullie te delen 😃
En stiekem maakt het me niet eens uit of ik ze verkoop. Het gevoel dat dit (innerlijke) proces mij nu al geeft, is onbetaalbaar. 🤍

Hier toetert iemand niet uit irritatie, maar als bedankje. Mensen geven elkaar de ruimte, lachen naar elkaar en lijken het leven nét iets zachter te beleven. Alsof de tijd hier langzamer gaat, zodat je weer voelt wat echt belangrijk is.
Misschien is “gemoedelijk” het juiste woord. Dat wat ik weleens mis in Nederland. Daar lijkt het eerder ‘ieder voor zich’. Voor mij voelt het vooral als thuiskomen in een gevoel dat je eigenlijk nooit meer wilt loslaten ☀️ 🏝️

Helaas moesten we eerder vertrekken omdat ik me ineens niet goed voelde. Daar zat ik dan met een spuugzakje (heel charmant natuurlijk 🙃).
Maar goed, gelukkig hebben we de foto’s nog! Al was ik achteraf niet helemaal tevreden over mijn outfit… Soms stel ik last-minute iets samen en denk ik: leuk! Tot ik de foto’s terugzie en besef dat het toch niet helemaal was wat ik in gedachten had 😆
Daar valt dus nog wat winst te behalen… of gewoon iets meer voorbereiding de volgende keer 😉
