The first movement of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach’s Sonata in F major, Wq 70/3, relies on echo effects between two manuals. Since this organ has only one, I have to recreate them with rapid registration changes – while also keeping the wind flowing.

A planned rebuild in 1948 was abandoned because the necessary funds were no longer available after the currency reform – this ultimately saved the organ from alteration.
The instrument was restored by Karl Schuke Orgelbau (Berlin) in 1990/91. It is now protected as a historic monument.
