I’m struggling to find the right words to express my overwhelming excitement and gratitude for what has been the hardest secret to keep this past year. In 2021, I embarked on a project for the most kind and trusting clients who afforded me the opportunity to reimagine their new home top to bottom. A traditional 1970’s ranch in original condition, underwent an extensive transformation- no square inch left untouched. To put it simply, we had our work cut out for us! This project is special to me for many reasons. To have it also be our first whole home feature in print, much less making the COVER is truly a whirlwind of emotions.
A favorite part of reimagining this home was the sheer amount of storytelling and history packed into every room. Each space held treasured pieces that told our client’s story and ultimately became the catalyst for crafting the design- from commissioned paintings by West Texas artists, to antique family heirlooms, this house holds a treasure trove of sentiment.
I want to recognize the amazing team of people who I had the privilege of working alongside to bring our client’s home to life. Thank you for your careful execution of this design, and for your guidance and expert architectural eye.
