They can turn into unexpected live concerts.
When Harry Tomei stepped in front of my camera, the photographs became only part of the experience. Between portraits, melodies filled the room, the guitar came alive, and the line between documentation and creation started to disappear.
What struck me most wasn’t just his technical ability, but his authenticity. At only 20 years old, Harry has already traveled from Italy to Paris and Berlin to pursue his musical vision, developing a sound that blends pop, rock and jazz while continuously evolving as a songwriter and performer.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting and photographing remarkable artists from many creative fields. Every now and then, someone appears who makes you stop and pay attention. Harry is one of those people.
I suspect this is only the beginning of a much larger journey.

I’m delighted to share the first cover created as part of my new collaboration with Primrose Music.
For those unfamiliar with Primrose Music, it is an established international production music library whose catalogue has been used for decades across film, television, radio, and media productions around the world.
What makes this release particularly special is that the photograph was taken several years ago in Bali, during the very beginning of my relationship with
At the time, it was simply a personal and creative moment shared between two people discovering a new chapter of their lives together. Now, that same image has found a new life as the cover artwork for the album Exotic Mirage.
The image found a new home, accompanied by a beautiful soundtrack. The music track of this post is from The Exotic Mirage album🤩
One of the things I love most about photography is that a single frame can continue its journey long after it is created. What began as a quiet and personal moment on a tropical island has now become part of a musical project that may travel far beyond where the photograph was originally taken.

A writer. A Master Chef. An American who somehow became more Roman than many Romans. 🇮🇹🍸
A few days ago, I had the pleasure of photographing the wonderful Max Alexander here in Rome.
Rather than simply taking portraits, we created cinematic scenes inspired by different aspects of his life, his personality, and his relationship with the Eternal City.
These three images are just random frames from a much larger story we’re still shaping together.
No elaborate acting.
No forced poses.
Just two creative minds having fun and allowing the story to unfold.
Straight out of camera.
No Photoshop.
No filters.
Just light, atmosphere, storytelling, and a wonderful subject.
This is also what I offer through my Bespoke Photo Sessions: creating visual stories inspired by who you are, your passions, your memories, your dreams, or even a fantasy version of yourself.

Not just the celebration of the laser… but the celebration of the very essence of existence itself. ✨
To me, light is far more than something we capture in photography.
Light is energy.
Light is information.
Light is connection.
Every atom, every molecule, every living being in this universe exists through energetic interaction. Photons, the particles of light, are constantly moving through and connecting everything around us.
Science has shown that light and energy can physically influence matter itself. Photons have the capacity to alter molecular structures depending on the energy interacting with them. Even water molecules respond differently to external energetic influences and environmental conditions.
So maybe the real question is this:
If energy can influence matter…
what are we constantly shaping through our thoughts, emotions, words and presence?
Considering that the human body is mostly water, perhaps the energy we carry affects far more than we imagine.
Maybe our inner world is not separate from the reality we experience, but part of what continuously shapes it.
Maybe light is not only something we see.
Maybe it is something we transmit.
So today, on International Day of Light, ask yourself:

“For the second consecutive decade, commercial photography continues its triumphant march through the world’s leading museums — and for a reason. Indeed, if one replaces the word ‘reference’ with ‘cultural allusion,’ it immediately becomes obvious that photographers, along with stylists and other production team members, are in a position hardly different from the independent filmmakers, writers or conceptual artists of the Postmodernist era… Andrea Belluso is a recognised advertising professional. Early in his career, having become assistant to Bardo Fabiani, he started learning the tricks of the trade that deploys illusion to stir desire or… yearning for beauty… Helmut Newton, for instance, staged commercial photo shoots in glamorous locations with the most sought-after models, but, once the contracted project was complete, would customarily take several pictures for his own record, contributing to his fame as an art photographer… True masters eschew the routine… their creative gaze is capable of transforming mundane reality into a metaphysical process. This is remarkably true of Andrea Belluso who… embarked on the path of a conjurer of light. The works featured in his solo exhibition at Erarta mostly originate from commercial projects… He views advertising photography as a welcome challenge… a chance to engage in an inner dialogue… Andrea’s art entirely relies on his proficiency in handling this delicate substance… describing the creation of different moods and images with the aid of flash… One gains a completely different perspective by accepting the artist’s notion of ‘painting’ with a camera… And every time he masterfully uses light to transform reality, one seems to hear the invocation: BELLO, BELLO, BELLISSIMO!”
