My proposal for the Bal Harbour Shops 60th Anniversary Magazine Cover.
Going back to fashion illustration isn’t exactly my comfort zone... But when I found out this challenge involved art, history, and one of the most luxurious places in Miami, I simply couldn’t resist. It felt like returning to something I used to love as a little girl. 🎨
I chose the 1970s to represent Bal Harbour because that decade marked the real boom of luxury that shaped it into what we know today. It also holds a personal connection for me: the disco music, bold colors, strong makeup and iconic style of that era (think Twiggy meets Edie Sedgwick) have always inspired me.
Wish me luck with this interpretation of a 70s golden muse, painted with inks, acrylics, and oils. A celebration of glamour, sunshine, and Miami flair. 🌴✨
