Me mueve lo que está ocurriendo a mi alrededor, lo que está sucediendo a nivel planetario y el espejo tan grande que todo esto es para mí. Catástrofes naturales, opresión, violencia y el colapso de estructuras y sistemas que ya no funcionan. Que es lo que ya no funciona dentro de mí y tiene que cambiar? Me estoy ejerciendo violencia a mí misma?
As above so below, as within so without.
Me interesa crear con lo que ya existe, con lo que ha sido descartado, con los desechos como lenguaje. Creo profundamente en el poder de los materiales y en su capacidad de comunicar. Para mí, crear es un diálogo con el entorno: una escucha mutua.
Mi proceso no es rápido. No quiero forzarlo ni crear por dinero. Quiero crear desde la profundidad, sin presión. Exploro materiales nobles, objetos encontrados, reciclo, observo con paciencia cada experimento. Sigo creando en silencio, en mi espacio, a mi ritmo. Creo que la creatividad es cíclica, como la naturaleza: no siempre se puede cosechar. A veces es necesario sembrar, esperar, volver al invierno, para poder crear de nuevo.
2025 fue un año de horas infinitas en el estudio, de mucha soledad y disciplina. Un año en el que me llevé al límite. Cada obra fue también un proceso de sanación: un portal para sentir, transmutar, alquimizar y un altar para honrar. Mis exposiciones son estos altares.
Aunque haya pasado solo un año, esas piezas me transformaron profundamente. El arte que creo es mi vehículo de sanación, la forma en la que entiendo el mundo y me puedo entender un poco más a mí misma.
Es como si todo lo que habita dentro de mí necesitara atravesarme el cuerpo y materializarse, hacerse tangible para poder ser observado, compartirlo y hablado. Cada vez que doy a luz una obra, algo se cierra, algo se integra.
Que este año la prisa no me coja y que me pueda regalar a mi misma el juego y la curiosidad como forma de vida.
Quien no se pierde a sí misma, nunca se encuentra del todo. Quien no hace el amor con la locura aunque sea una vez en la vida, mucho se pierde.
Aprendí a dejar ir, prometí honrar a todo mi ser, me dejé sostener por la sombra y la soledad, que ya se volvieron amigas, porque lo que desconocemos es enemigo hasta que una confía y libera las cadenas de su propia resistencia.
Porque es justo ahí en el encuentro entre el dolor más intenso y el éxtasis más gozoso donde surge la transformación.
A veces me pregunto si a los gusanos les duele convertirse en mariposa.
