thought I would give some 2 week updates on just some of the really quirky cool things I’ve found: cute pins from 1981, old wall paper behind the kitchen, half cut pipes, a completely cooked ceiling and of course: mould that is at this point its own eco system😛

After the longest most up&down 6 months ever I actually cannot quite believe it’s finally mine. I can’t even say that achieving this was a lifelong dream as solo home ownership is not something little amy would have even thought possible. However, life happened and after my own experiences of living in spaces that were not my own I knew this was something I wanted for myself. A house for me, in my own name, no one can tell me what to do, nothing to be held over my head, something no one can take away from me or use against me. This means so much more to me than just bricks and a key.
Yes I’ve worked for it but I have also had an unbelievable amount of luck over the past almost 7 years that has put me in the position to be able to do this. You guys have played a huge role in this milestone for me and I cannot thank you enough I have been blessed beyond words with the community we have built. Having my parents here to be able to see and enjoy this with me truly means the world, without you I’m not sure that would have been the case- so thankyou for affording me that blessing. I am truly so grateful to each and every one of you, whether you’ve been here since I was bleach blonde in my uni room or you’ve joined along the way- thankyou so, so much. Promise to always give back in whatever ways I can but truly it would never be enough for how much you guys have changed my life. The best bunch & this moment wouldn’t be possible without you🥹🔑🤍

By a mile the toughest week but I have never been more proud as a little sister. Seeing the way my sister & jack have dealt with everything in the hardest time for them has been incredible. Both of them are a testament to the fact that strength doesn’t have to be loud or brash, it can be quiet & confident. If anything I hope this experience has been able to show my sister how strong she really is. She was born to be a mama and I could not be prouder, she truly is the best person I know and I know everyone says that but she really is, I don’t know a single soul with a bad word to say about her. I have been immensely lucky to have had her as my best friend. I can only imagine how kind, caring, considerate and thoughtful little Willow is going to be with Jack & her as parents.
At their wedding I introduced myself as the luckiest person in the room as I’ve had my sister with me my whole life as a built in best friend, Willow takes that crown now as she gets to have her as her mama her whole life (and an incredible daddy who has looked after her & my sister with so much care and love)🤍
