I am fully content with what I have received from all my students and from Amir throughout this camp: full effort, discipline, professionalism, commitment, and resilience through the obstacles every fighter inevitably faces during preparation.

7 February against the japanese player kyoji horiguchi
On December 17, ACB JJ held an outstanding grappling event in Moscow. Amir Albazi was invited to participate just a few weeks prior to the event. As we began preparation for his scheduled opponent, we received news that the opponent had pulled out and would no longer be facing Amir on December 17.
Amir immediately informed the organization that he was ready to face anyone and was looking forward to a replacement. The ACB staff did a great job finding one quickly, but less than a week before the event, that opponent also withdrew.
At that point, we were given two options: cancel the match or accept a bout against a heavier, highly decorated MMA fighter from Team Khabib. We accepted the challenge with excitement and respect for the test ahead.
In a tough nine-minute match, Amirโs experience and technical precision allowed him to control the fight, secure the victory, and come very close to finishing it by submission.
We would like to thank the ACB JJ organization for their professionalism and strong organizational work in putting together such an extraordinary event. Looking forward to the next one.
