It’s official!! The Class of 2026 graduated tonight!
While them leaving is bittersweet, we will always remember their years at ASB that have flown by..

Remember, once an Eagle, always an Eagle!
Back where it all began!

Yesterday, our seniors returned to the Elementary School campus for one of ASB’s most special traditions. Dressed in their graduation gowns, they walked through the halls many of them once called home and were welcomed by cheering students, high fives, hugs, and countless smiles along the way.

For our younger Eagles, it’s a chance to celebrate and look ahead. For our seniors, it’s a full-circle moment: revisiting classrooms, hallways, and memories that helped shape who they are today.

The ESC Senior Walk is a beautiful reminder that while much has changed over the years, the sense of community and belonging at ASB stays with you.
There’s something uniquely powerful about a choir concert. Individual voices learning when to lead, when to listen, and how to become part of something larger together.

Tonight’s Spring Choir Concert was filled with moments that moved seamlessly from playful and energetic to quiet and reflective. From middle school ensembles to high school performances and student solos, the evening celebrated musical skill and connection that comes with performing as one.

And tonights performances bring our 2026 Spring Concerts to a close!
Spring Concert 2026 opened last night with an evening of instrumental music that filled the MPH with energy, precision, creativity, and joy. From Guitar Club and String Orchestra to our middle and high school bands, students took the stage with confidence and care, sharing everything from classical works to contemporary favorites.

There was something special about watching musicians across grade levels come together through their love for music. Whether it was the power of the full ensemble pieces, the quieter moments of individual expression, or the excitement of performing live for our community, the evening reflected the dedication and growth of our student musicians throughout the year.

A huge thank you to our music faculty, volunteers, and performers for an incredible night of music.

Choir Concert tomorrow...
What a memorable weekend at the 2026 ASIAC Music Festival, hosted right here at ASB.

Students from the American School of Bombay, the American Embassy School, and the American International School Chennai came together to learn from guest conductors, grow as musicians, and make music alongside one another. The hard work every student put in, both in rehearsals and on stage, truly showed.

The weekend culminated with the Gala Concert, featuring the world premiere of Light, My Light, composed by Dr. Dwight Bigler with text by Rabindranath Tagore, and commissioned by the American School of Bombay.
Big questions. No easy answers.

Recently our G4/5 students wrapped up their PYP Exhibition after weeks of following lines of inquiry around business, consumer choices, fair trade, and how local and global systems impact people’s lives.

There was a lot of interviewing, rethinking, sorting through ideas… and then changing their minds again.

What came together was their research and perspective. ASB’s PYP Day X focused on how their thinking shifted, what challenged them, and what they chose to do with it.

If you were there, you know… Some of the best moments came from just stopping and asking our students a question.

Today at ASB, learning was rooted in empathy, shaped by student voice and choice. SOLVE 5.0 ✅

Today, across our Middle and High School, students progressed through a range of experiences from storytelling and design to hands-on making and dialogue and each one was shaped by this year’s SOLVE theme of Compassionate, Connected Communities.

What stood out most were our student facilitators. They stepped into the role of educators with confidence and care by guiding conversations, holding space for different perspectives, and creating environments where others felt comfortable to share and engage.

This is what it can look like when learning moves beyond the classroom… SOLVE 5.0 at ASB!
What happens when you mix 10 books, 9 teams, and a whole lot of school spirit? You get the first annual ASB Battle of the Books!

Our Middle Schoolers proved that reading is a team sport, with five elite squads battling it out in a high-stakes Grand Finale…

After a nail-biting afternoon of trivia and interactive games, our winners walked away with medals and book vouchers to fuel their next literary adventure!

Stay tuned for the next academic year’s Battle of the Books in Middle School and High School!

What does it mean to be “smart” today?

This morning, we welcomed Dr. Ulcca Joshi Hansen, educator and author of “The Future of Smart”, to ASB.

She worked with both our parent community and our Grades 6–12 students. With parents, the focus was on how schools may need to evolve in response to a rapidly changing world. With students, the session was active and thought-provoking, with students on their feet, questioning what they learn, how they learn, and what actually matters in a world shaped by AI.

A reminder that being “smart” is not just about what you know, but how you think, reflect, and make sense of the world around you.
