It started with a really sub par swim, bridged back up to the front solo, managed to connect at mile 20ish, reset for a minute, then took my share of the work at the front until someone else took their turn and we had some interesting pack dynamics to navigate 😅.
Delivered a much improved run compared to my first 70.3 a couple of months back.
Proud of the fight and the direction things are heading. We keep learning and building!
Bonus was to get a world championship qualification for 2026.

My young women’s camp is back this year! The camp is for 12-17 years old girls that want to work on their skills for swimming, biking and running. Join myself, and on November 2nd at the Olympic stadium for a fun triathlon day!

After a long road of injuries, it felt so good to finally toe the line healthy again. This one was about seeing where my swim and bike fitness were at and gain some experience on a new distance. I knew I was underprepared on the run but wanted to see what 70.3 was all about.
Enjoyed most of it… except maybe the last 6km of the run where the lack of volume and run workouts caught up to me. Let’s just say it was a slow and painful grind to the finish 😅
Finished the day in 5th. Plenty of lessons were learned and I’m excited to keep building from there.
