I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this project! It’s the heartspiritbrain-child of my dearest sister a true Libra queen bringing love, justice, and the most effervescent ferocity to the world. And she designed, edited, riso-printed, and hand-bound each and every one! 🪸

My piece is about 🫳🌱 plantfondling (natch) and is a slowdown medicine morsel in this larger, shimmering breadcrumb trail guiding us home to ourselves and each other.

There’s a very limited amount of these and they’re for sale on Amaryllis’s site >> sliding scale options, too!

Learning how to make a book was WILD and EMPOWERING. We have so much wisdom between us. Let’s give each other something to hold on to.

The first image is a picture of tired me sitting in front of a red brick wall with stacks of completed books piled on either side. The second video is behind the scenes of the book making process from collating each book to binding and trimming. The third image is my ink stained hand holding up the book END TIMES FOR BEGINNERS. The cover has the title written in bendy fluorescent font like a map and a flashing sign.

A huge thank you to Nick Weist and Planet Earth for your invaluable support and expertise. See you on the other side of (this particular) apocalypse. -
Felt like I needed to draw out a little comic with this holy fool and agent of chaos who forges charms and weapons from the remains of her own bodily decomposition.

I heard a beautiful conversation between and Francis Weller on. He was talking about how we are culturally obsessed with ascension, with constantly climbing, living at our highest, moving up up up. But that we are in a moment of descension that needs us to go down and dark and low. That this time calls for a kind of derangement. I like that a lot. Right now requires our willingness to be undone internally, systemically, spiritually.

This wild thing (I’m calling her the weapons master for now) comes undone in perpetuity and refuses to “keep it together “. She’s part of a bigger story so TO BE CONTINUED but I’ve been waking up with her on my mind and asking for the courage to put my comfort on the line for the sake of systemic collapse, knowing that liberation does not begin and end with my own personal freedom.

Images are a few pages of a comic showing a big brown open-eyed spirit person lying prone in a wild garden and impaled by many swords. She lifts her head up in surprise at being noticed and painstakingly pushes body off the swords which remain buried in the ground. She has multiple gaping wounds and a big smile on her face as she bleeds out in the grass calling “yooooooo hooooooooo”! The wounds widen and her skin falls off her yellow bones and the yellow bones fall into a pile on the ground with a purple glow continuing to say “you called?”.
2025, a year in Feelings ✌🏽👋🏽😽 kiss kiss bye buhbye bye
Yea we did 💒😈😈💒
Friends used to joke about starting a gofundme for me and to finally get married. We had an ongoing bucket list for our Big Gay Wedding, including horses, a snow cone cart, stripper money dance, a three day rager in the woods, a fort made of sunflowers, flash-mobs, flash tattoos, and so on. But I married Kingston in my heart a long time ago. And if nothing else, this year clarified the fuck outta what really matters and what really doesn’t. Kingston had just given birth to our beautiful Chiron and a NICU volunteer officiated us in the park down the street during our indefinite hospital stay. It rained lucky rain on us and we took pictures under an old willow tree. We ate ravioli and lemon cake and laughed till we thought we might get kicked out. It was perfect. Thank god for your gallows humor King, I don’t know how we would have made it through this year without it. 13 years in and there’s still no one else I’d rather ride with. Here’s to our whole lives my love.
Sometimes it’s easier for me to show my process than try and explain it. To make these figures I cut apart different bodies of clay, slicing and scraping them into many pieces, then reassembling them into strange patterns. I’m forming new blocks from a tedious process of fragmentation and reformation. So the patterns you see on the body aren’t surface, but structural. It doesn’t matter how much you scrape or degrade the exterior, the pattern is the body and visa versa. Obscure the surface and the pattern still exists. I’ve found a lot of peace in the meaning embedded in this process and in its unpredictability. Even when I think I know what patterns I’m making they always warp and shift and reveal themselves to be different than my intentions. Clay has its own memory and mystery and timeline that I cannot control, only co-create with. The fragments become the patterns that become the building block that becomes the irreverent, mutable, weird bodies that change irreversibly with time. Unable to become itself without containing its opposite.

Images are of two videos where I am in my studio cutting and reassembling clay blocks to find kaleidoscopic formations for my (ceramic) body building. The following pictures are of a body that I built from those clay blocks. Her name is PARTY ANIMAL and she is a ceramic power figure for the chronically devastated. A double headed dark brown and bone yellow kaleidoscopic figure is perched on top of stark white arms and legs much larger than her body. Her limbs insert into them like body casts. She is on these hands and knees with one head looking up in a howl and the other head open mouthed to the opposite side. She has three glossy ponytails and psychedelic skin. Her arm and leg casts fill with pearly liquid that overflows and drips down her limbs. Carved into these casts are infinity chains with various good luck charms, warning signs, and two phrases on each thigh:
YOU’RE GONNA HAVE SO MUCH FUN I’M GONNA ROCK YOUR WORLD I’M GONNA BLOW YOUR MIND
I AM CHRONICALLY DEVASTATED BY THE OVERWHELMING GRAVITY OF BEING A LIVING THING
The greatest honor of my life is getting to be a parent to the most incredible little big spirit I’ve ever known, our beautiful baby Chiron (shy-ron). I’m in awe of who carried and birthed the love of our lives.

Most people assume I gave birth, most people assume a lot about us. It drives me crazy the ease with which Kingston is erased in what should be one of the most universal celebrations we can share as humans. Ive witnessed strength beyond what should be expected of any one person, pure love, harrowing fear, and endless wells of endurance that Kingston had while growing and giving birth to our baby 3 months early (and every day since).

From the big stuff like being barred entry into the hospital while Kingston and our baby’s life were at risk (true story), to the everyday comments about how it’s hard for everyone (it’s incomparable), to the inability to register our family all together, we’ll spend a lifetime teaching Chi about the love and family we fight for. I couldn’t be more proud of my beautiful husbear and our brilliant baby, more excited to get to be Chi’s mama.

P.S. I’m the father on the birth certificate. They really don’t know what to do with us, and I’m good with that.
Original Fragment of the Lost Girls Treasure Map

Craft materials, paper, fabric, airbrush, paint, gemstones, and bones

On view at the Albuquerque Museum through March 2nd 2025 as a part of the Broken Boxes exhibition - truly an amazing show made by good and brilliant people all around.

My friend and fellow artist of Chromatics Studio NYC took on the challenge of photographing this massive piece while I was a loopy space cadet who hadn’t slept and wasn’t finished (we’ve all been there amiright…. 🙃) So many reflective elements and textures on this piece that can only be seen walking around it and looking at different angles, but KC worked with me to try and find the light. If you see it in person, walk around and look for the disappearing/reappearing parts.

Image is of a fragment of the Lost Girls Treasure Map that is also its own piece. In crystalized surfaces and pink and purple hues a land is laid out in cartoon cartography. The map holds keys to the following places:

THE ASTRAL PLANE
THE BONE YARD
MEMORY PALACES OF FORGOTTEN SHMEMORIES
TRAGIC FACTORY
THE UNDERWORLD
SHADOWLANDS
TRIPLE DOG DARES
NIGHTMARE ALLEY
UNCHARTED WATERS
BITCHES GET MONEY
7 RUNGS OF (INNER) HELL
RAINBOW RANGES OF PLEASURE
PRINCESS PORTAL (dirty girls only)
NO MANS LAND
GOOD GIRL SWAMPS
THE (de) BASEMENT
BEHAVIOR ISLANDS
FOUNTAIN OF PROOF
INNER SPACE
OUTTER SPACE
LIMINAL SPACE
EXPERIMENTS IN RESSURECTION
CANDY CAVES
CRYSTAL COVES
FORBIDDEN WINDS OF DESIRE
‘Let the Monster Sleep’ opens at September 16, 2023.✨ This solo exhibition will premiere new and recent works created over the past year - excited to share with you all what I’ve been thinking through xo

Video is of me working in my studio on a ceramic bust of a femme monstrosity. One arm braces her as she arches backwards, eyes bugging and a muscle arm up ready to strike! Her tongue waves out of her sharp toothed mouth with the word LUCK carved down the middle. All over her pink and lilac body are many drawings. One side of her fighting arm reads SACRIFICIAL and the other side reads SUPERFICIAL. Portals, gay gods, flaming eagle heads, eyes, bones, graves, levitating bodies, bats, diamonds, hearts, daggers, and other phrases like “oh god what a disappointment” “baby girl” “so crazy” “holy hell” “lost girl” and “it’s hard to say/ it’s hard to stay” are carved into her skin. I’m listening to smashing pumpkins and is walking around recording the work in progress.
