I look for you everywhere. The world’s moved on, and I’ve been stuck on that day on repeat. I knew this would be hard, don’t get me wrong… but I don’t think anything could have prepared me for the silence that comes after losing you.
One week ago today, I had to say goodbye to my best friend.
It still doesn’t feel real walking into the house without hearing your paws, your “woo woos,” or seeing your face waiting for me after a long day. The silence has been the hardest part.
Mya wasn’t just my dog. She was there through every chapter of my life — the good, the bad, the heartbreaks, the adventures, the late-night drives, the camping trips, the Bronco events, and the days I didn’t think I could get through. Somehow, she always knew exactly when I needed her most.
For nearly 13 years, she loved with everything she had. Loudly. Dramatically. Unconditionally.
This past week has shown me just how many lives she touched. The messages, photos, stories, and people reaching out about her have meant more than I can explain. A little husky from Michigan somehow became part of so many people’s lives, and that makes me incredibly proud of her.
I keep replaying all the little things — her singing, her zoomies, her attitude, her stealing everyone’s attention wherever we went. I’d give anything for one more ride with my wolfdog.
Thank you for loving her with me.
And thank you, Mya, for giving me the best 4,891 days I could have ever asked for.

Thank you everyone for the calls, texts, and messages. I’m sorry if I haven’t gotten back to you yet. I knew this would be hard… but you truly don’t understand that kind of pain until you’re living it.
Mya had seizures at the end that she just couldn’t get through. I thought we’d have one more day to do all our favorite things and see all our favorite people. But the kindest thing I could do was let her rest and stop fighting the tumor.
She had the best life, and no matter what I say, it’ll never do her justice.
But she was the best damn dog a girl could ever ask for. My wolfdog. My best friend. My shadow through every chapter of life.
I’ll miss you forever.

My journey started October 11, 2021 when I got the keys to my new Bronco. It really started at dealer preview when I fell in love with the Bronco. (Thanks off-roadeo and Mike Clouds 😂)
I never was a off roader. I never had friends that were involved in the off road community. I’ve had the chance to meet the most incredible people that I’m excited to call my new friends.

It’s going to be hard to top my first year with my Bronco. But we are just getting started.
