This idea has been festering and it’s the easter egg to what’s to come, every piece is being put together- I’ve never felt so vulnerable and raw and honest with myself, like I have been in this new chapter. It’s freeing and scary… being uncomfortable is something I like to feel as it pushes me and brings me a step closer to who I really am and what I’m meant to do.
My life is one massive journal entry, I wanted to bring that to the physical world, and emerge others to reflect on what a birthday means to them, as sonder and nostalgia plays a massive part in my creative art direction.
You have to look back, to be able to move forward.

The journey of migration and identity, this film was shot not knowing what direction it was going to lean into but after being home (Bahrain), I had a moment of reflection.

My parents,
you met as cabin crew, and mum took the brave step of starting a new life in a foreign country. Raising me and my siblings while flying between two families. You both made countless sacrifices, from travelling to build our family connections to restarting everything for us. Thank you for giving me such a unique story to share- one that resonates with many who have walked a similar path. I treasure the memories that I now hold in two homes, I’m forever grateful to both of you for starting your careers in cabin crew. The journey it has been figuring out where I belong but just to mature to learn that I belong to both, understanding the journey of identity, the airport, my friend, you made this all possible.
