This opportunity was that surprise. 'Why? The Musical' has blown my mind away for reasons that I cannot really pen down. Here I was manifesting surprises and the amount of those I received on a daily basis working on this was, if anything, overwhelming, specifically because I wasn't used to feeling this alive and alert all day in years. I mean to think I came here just 3 months ago to work with and as a Dance Captain, my first time being in this position, to doing a performance as the lead of a and musical with no prior acting experience last week! Like Hello?! WHAT?! I am so thrilled and blessed to be here. I can't explain to you in words what surprising yourself does to you. This project has been the most enriching experience of my life for the sole reason that I was surrounded by people who brought me back my hope. They brought me back my belief, my joy and my vulnerability by just loving, supporting and allowing me to be myself. You know they say, never forget your 'Why'. Why you do what you do. That why drives you through life. The most important thing that 'Why? The Musical' has done for me is to remind me of my WHY.
