Ski equipment is expensive. My family season-rented skis from our relative Ragnar Edsås at Sportboden in Edsåsdalen.
I didn’t get my first pair of skis until 2013, when I was working at the local TV station in Åre. They had a partnership with HEAD Ski.
7 years later, I became a brand ambassador for.
Just a few days ago, I had a crash — jumped off a cliff, hit some rocks, and destroyed my skis. I reached out to my partner, and they pulled off a miracle — delivering new skis to me in under 20 hours.
Huge thanks to the team for always having my back!
Moments like that make me think about where it all started — playing with sticks in the forests of Edsåsdalen. And soon, I’ll be filming with one of the best skiers in the world.
I’m beyond grateful for this incredible journey and everyone who’s helped me along the way.
