The weather is unpredictable, just like the mood - sunshine suddenly giving way to thunderstorms and rain.
The sea is restless, alive, and powerful, yet it never takes away the desire to step outside, to keep moving, to do the things we love

On September 30th, it was just the two of us left.
Our little girl, our beloved Rafa, our kitty child - she is gone.
I won’t go into every detail, I’ll try to keep it as short as I can…
She became weak and wasn’t feeling well, she kept throwing up. On September 23rd we took her to the clinic. After more than 5 hours of tests they sent us straight to the main veterinary hospital with the news that she needed an urgent, extremely complicated surgery - a surgery that only a few doctors in Israel can do for an animal her size. The surgery took place on September 25th. It went well, and it looked like the hardest part was behind us…
From the very beginning we stayed by her side - we visited twice a day for hours, and after the surgery we spent entire days in the hospital with her.
They told us she should start eating and trying to stand up on the 2nd or 3rd day after the surgery… but she didn’t get up, she didn’t eat, and every day she became weaker and weaker. The main issue they operated on was improving… but her blood pressure wouldn’t rise.
On September 29th they placed her in my arms and said it might help - and right then, her heart stopped for the first time.
I won’t describe what we felt. She was literally like our child. You might think we’re crazy - I truly don’t care - because that’s what she was to us.
They were able to bring her back, but things only kept getting worse. She was on a ventilator for hours before she could breathe again on her own…
We spent the whole day with her, from morning till night.
We went home to sleep.
September 30th..
At 1:43 a.m. they called - she couldn’t breathe on her own again.
At 7:35 a.m. another call - her heart had stopped again and they were trying to bring her back.
At 7:46 a.m. the call came… she was gone.
I’m writing this and crying. I cry every day. Still.
Just 1,5 months old when we brought her home.
7,5 years of love, life, and family together.
Now she’s gone… but forever part of us.
*The video.. I was filming a recipe and watching a show. She was next to me, like always, and came to cuddle.
The whole show was incredible. The concert felt like one deep breath, seamless, powerful, emotional. I suddenly realized I knew the lyrics to 99% of the songs.

The family is the most important thing to me!
My family has been teaching me a lot.
I didn't have a classic story of Mom, Dad, everyone else, and me.
It was a difficult way of building relationships with everyone, years later and not the happiest childhood, however the one that taught me a lot too.
For a very long time, I felt like a black sheep. Creating a family with people thanks to whom I’m being - is a lot of work over myself, working myself out, this is the skill to accept people as they are and myself as I’m too.
My family is the most difficult people for me, but the most valuable and beloved, I have my own story with each one of them.
My family wasn't born when I was born, it was born when I realised that nothing matters without it.
I’m grateful for my experience, and I’m grateful to my family and to all people in my life, I’m grateful for all difficulties and each victory, without which I wouldn’t be myself.
