For 2026, we introduce new experiences, including our most requested night cemetery tour as Catrín or Catrina — a respectful journey through some of Oaxaca’s most meaningful cemeteries.
The night includes an introduction to the tradition, visits to local cemeteries alongside families, decorating a grave, and sharing seasonal food and drinks: mole chichilo, traditional bread, hot chocolate, and mezcal.
We also guide you on what is respectful to do, observe, and photograph.
Optional additions include a pre-tour photo session, traditional hairstyling by local artists, and a natural flower crown.
