Insieme a Édouard e Fabrizio Pinna, ho attraversato l’isola per raccontare con la macchina fotografica le storie silenziose di canili e rifugi.
Storie di animali abbandonati, dimenticati, spesso traditi da chi avrebbe dovuto amarli.
Ma accanto a quel dolore, ho trovato anche la forza di chi resta.
Non solo gli sguardi profondi degli animali, ma anche le mani, il tempo e l’amore di chi se ne prende cura ogni giorno.
Un’umanità fatta di dedizione silenziosa, speranza e piccoli gesti che fanno la differenza.
Da questo reportage è nata una mostra fotografica che è molto più di un’esposizione: è una campagna di beneficenza, grazie all’impegno di Caterina Murino e Andrea Iannelli.
Dal 14 al 28 novembre, alla Biblioteca di Mestre (Venezia), ogni fotografia esposta sarà disponibile per la vendita, e il ricavato andrà interamente alle associazioni coinvolte.
Perché ogni scatto può diventare un gesto concreto.
Perché ogni storia merita una seconda possibilità.

Sette giorni di viaggio insieme a e per documentare quello che spesso resta fuori dai riflettori: la realtà del randagismo e il lavoro quotidiano, instancabile, di chi sceglie di non voltarsi dall’altra parte.
Questa mostra nasce durante una campagna di beneficenza promossa da Zooplus, dedicata a donare cibo e supporto concreto a rifugi e canili. Io ero lì per fotografare, ma anche per ascoltare, per portare alla luce vite che spesso passano inosservate.
Accanto a me, in questo viaggio, Caterina Murino: attrice e attivista ma prima ancora essere umano profondamente coinvolto, ascoltando storie, accarezzando musi impauriti, donando presenza, oltre che sostegno.
Ogni immagine che vedrete in questa esposizione è nata da un incontro: con un cane abbandonato, con un volontario esausto ma sorridente, con luoghi dimenticati ma pieni di umanità.
Non c’è nulla di costruito. Solo realtà. E uno sguardo condiviso.
“Attraverso i nostri occhi” è esattamente questo: uno scambio di sguardi.
I miei, dietro l’obiettivo. I loro, pieni di domande. I nostri, uniti per non dimenticare.
Questa mostra non vuole solo raccontare, ma anche ispirare.
A donare, a tendere la mano, ad adottare uno sguardo più consapevole.
Perché dietro ogni storia fotografata c’è una vita che merita attenzione.
E dietro ogni gesto di solidarietà, c’è la possibilità concreta di cambiare le cose.
