To create the full transformation for Polyphemus, we developed a lightweight foam body suit with removable articulated gloves for natural movement and performer comfort. The head application consisted of a cowl, two cheeks, chin, nose and forehead prosthetics.
The latex and polyfoam feet were built around platform boots, adding height while maintaining durability for the action sequences.
Throughout the build, we used polyfoam construction to help alleviate the weight of heavy silicone prosthetics, ensuring extended wear comfort for our performer.

I casually mentioned to the cast that I help run a little canned-water company that’s trying to cut down plastic on set and quietly point people toward support if they ever need it. Their response was immediate:
