Painting a lotus flower - layer by layer this piece comes to life 🥹

This is such a beautiful design. I’ve been fascinated by lotus flower for a long time. I love its shape, colors, and especially its spiritual meaning.

One brushstroke technique but two different brushes to get a fuller look. 💜

A few ways to paint mandala with round brushes 💜

I truly love the end result of a fine tip brush. It makes the brushstrokes look more organic, like petals.

Currently working on this piece inspired by the desert and I’m really enjoying the process. From Terra cota palette to using primarily my round brushes to get that flowing look!

I will teach how to paint this mandala this coming Friday inside my MAP membership. Link in bio to join! 🥰

How meditation looks like to me ✨ Currently painting this mandala inspired by the desert 🏜️ for the Forces of Nature series inside MAP.

There’s something about the desert that makes my heart calm. Don’t know if it’s the quietness or the view of sand everywhere.

For this piece, I wanted something with more geometry. A dance between lines and dots.

What y’all think so far? 🤓
Up to this point I only used my own brushes and dotting tools!

Dream Suncatcher mandala 💜💎 What a fun thing to do. I have always loved Suncatcher mandalas and Suncatcher wood burned art. They are definitely an inspiration!

I recently started playing with dream catchers with hanging crystals like this and decided on trying it out with mandalas! What do you think? I’m bringing this final piece to MAP this Friday! 🥰

Dream ✨🌷

This mandala was painted using a combination of my Aiyra Florals brushes and my favorite detail brushes from 💜

Over the years, I tested so many round and floral brushes searching for the perfect balance between softness, precision, and flow for botanical mandala painting. That journey eventually inspired me to create my own brush collection designed especially for the way I paint florals and flowing mandala details.

For this piece, I used my round brushes for flowing botanical strokes, together with rigger brushes for the delicate details throughout the mandala ✨

A good quality brush truly changes the painting experience. The fine tips, smooth paint flow, and control help create cleaner petals, elegant curves, and those soft layered florals that make mandalas feel alive.

Inside MAP Membership, I teach exactly how I use these brushes step by step in my mandala process, from brush control and paint consistency to floral composition and details 🌸

MAP students also receive exclusive discounts on some of my favorite art supplies and tools, including the brushes I use in my own artwork 💫

Dream class is now available inside MAP Membership ✨
Dreamy and Creamy 🩷✨ This 10” mandala class part 1 is now available inside MAP.

Part 2 will come out on May 22nd. It will be a BONUS class which we will be transforming this piece into a suncatcher with a lot of sparkling things ✨✨✨✨

I have been working with dream catchers for the past few weeks for a special spiritual project and truly loving it. Little I knew about it and now I want to add crystals beads in everything I make 😂

Stay tuned for class part 2!

Happy Friday! 😘
How to paint mandala with round brushes 💜🌷

I have been using round brushes for a long time to paint botanical designs, but for mandala painting the key is to find a round brush with a fine tip…

…because that’s what gives you those clean petals, soft curves, and delicate details that make everything feel balanced and intentional ✨

With the right brush, you don’t need to overwork the strokes, just let your hand flow and trust the movement.

Start from the center, breathe into each stroke, and allow the design to grow naturally… petal by petal 🌸

I use my own brushes Aiyra Florals to create my floral mandalas, they hold paint beautifully and keep that sharp tip for precision 💜

I teach a free class on how to use these brushes, check out link in bio for class and brushes shop.

Save this for your next painting session and let me know if you’ve tried painting mandalas with round brushes!
One year of teaching… and this is what we created 🤍

When I started MAP, I had no idea how many lives it would touch…including mine.

What began as a simple desire to share mandala painting has grown into something so much deeper… a space where we slow down, create with intention, and reconnect with ourselves through art.

Over this past year, we’ve painted together across the world.
We’ve explored colors, patterns, and new techniques…
and most importantly, we’ve created moments of calm in the middle of busy lives.

This is what MAP holds today:
✨ 25+ step-by-step floral mandala tutorials (new tutorials added every other week!)
✨ Workbooks to support your growth
✨ A beautiful, supportive creative community
✨ Guest teachers bringing new techniques and inspiration
✨ Exclusive discounts from my favorite art suppliers

And we’re just getting started.

To celebrate this first year, I’ve opened the founder’s rate for a couple more days.

If you join before May 3rd, you’ll lock in $14.99/month for as long as you stay a member.

After that, the membership will move to $24.99/month.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to paint, to explore new mediums, and to create something that’s just yours… this is your moment 🤍 Comment MAP and I’ll send the link to you.
