The Sanctum is a 3BHK reimagined into a mindful 2BHK retreat — for an entrepreneur who needed her home to do what her day couldn’t. Be still.
Walls came down. The kitchen opened up. A third bedroom became a breathing dining space. And suddenly, light moved through the apartment the way it was always meant to.
Every decision here was shaped by two things — Vastu and her. A puja room anchored at the entrance. Hidden bedroom doors along a single corridor. An arched niche carved between dining and kitchen that holds crockery and steals glances. Soft curves, warm neutrals, matte textures, natural stone.
Nothing loud. Nothing unnecessary. Everything intentional.
This is what designing for how someone actually lives — not just how it photographs — looks like.

A typical and compact 900sqft apartment in Mumbai is transformed from busy and cluttered to spacious, functional, stylish and immersive. Ankita Ramavat and Hiral Shah of AH Design Studio champions the idea of creating a design with a warm patina that ages beautifully. From highly tactile materials like rattan, wood, panelled surface treatments and more, Ankita curates a roadmap that hinges on highlighting the innate attributes of each and every design addition to this space. They go on to blow our minds, "This house is a budget home. We combined high-quality materials to lighten up the space with minimal neutral tones.
