It’s wild how fast M1 Year flew by (yall were serious about how quickly time flies) but through every literal drop of blood, sweat, and tears—God carried me through it all. I took this first photo during my last weeks at Google, when I officially received my letter, not knowing what was ahead, but boy did God truly shock me with what was in store. Grateful for the organizations that have joined and led, and the friends, family, and support system that kept me grounded at every step.
1/4 a doctor now, and I couldn’t be more elated for what’s to come!

While these past four years in corporate have taught me invaluable life lessons, the most crucial takeaway has been to never shy away from chasing your dreams, even when they seem out of reach.
I’m leaving my role at Google and my time in tech with a wealth of knowledge and experiences that will undoubtedly support me in my next chapter.
I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be starting medical school this fall at Chicago Medical School, working towards my MD. This has been a long-held dream that I once set aside, but I’ve gained a renewed appreciation for medicine and am eager to contribute to changing the stigma around patient care.
I am extremely grateful to God for blessing me with a strong support system, making this challenging decision possible. I’m excited to shake up that 3%!
