I'm forever a 'look at the moon!' type of person, but I've been feeling especially inspired by it lately (how incredible have the photos coming out of NASA been?!)
We've been lucky to have so many clear skies here recently and I've found myself more and more drawn to capturing its quiet, beautiful presence within my work.
On this particular evening I watched the sky change from orange, to pink, to purple as dusk settled in and the moon rose higher, light dancing across the waves below. There will always be something endlessly inspiring about moonlight on water 🌀✨

As Summer has gone on, I've watched this little view come alive as the plants have flowered & hundreds of bunny tails have slowly but surely started to take over the path down to the beach. Now, in late Summer, there's a beautiful chaos to it all—a wild mix of vibrant colours and textures all competing for your attention as you wander down to the shore 🌸🐚

This exhibition was such an important lesson in stepping outside of my comfort zone and challenging myself to do the things which both excite and terrify me (spoiler: that's where the best stuff happens) In doing so, I have been able to push myself + my practice further than ever.
Thank you to everyone who came along to the opening, visited the show over the last few weeks, or supported my work from afar—it has meant so much to me. Inspired by a perfect Summer evening at Lon—a warm, peachy sky and the winding beach tracks beckoning you down to the sea.
This piece was a real labour of love & a big lesson in patience and I'm so happy with how it came together in the end.

A massive, heart-felt thank you to all who came along to celebrate and support me + my work, and to those who gave paintings new homes (half the collection sold on the opening weekend! 🤯)
Painting can be such a solitary and introspective experience, often spending countless hours (days, weeks...) alone immersed in your work, so to be able to share this collection with others in such a personal way was very special. My cup is feeling incredibly full after getting to connect in person and to share so many wonderful conversations about my inspirations, so thank you.
It was made even more special by being in such a truly beautiful space as Lon (still pinching myself that I'm on the walls there!) and to be able to support too. A real highlight in my artistic career so far 💛
'First Light, Last Light' continues until Feb 1, 2026 and is open daily from 9am-4pm. All works are also available to be viewed and purchased on my website for those who are unable to make it to the exhibition in person! ☺️
