My entire photography career, I’ve taken credit where it was due elsewhere 🤦♀️ During a long bike ride yesterday, He reminded me I have a platform to right that wrong, so I sat in my 🚲 filth (literally/figuratively) and brain dumped. Is it the full spectrum of my thoughts? Not really. But hopefully you feel the weight of my conviction.
Everything I have is because of the Lord’s mercy. Everything I don’t have is because of His grace. And actually, how dare I receive any praise or recognition without honoring Him as The Reason for how I’ve been able to share my gift with others. HIS goodness sustains us.

It took decades for me to get here.
It was only after experiencing these visceral awakenings, day after day in the last 31 days, that I realized “the moment” was happening:
1. Surrendering my entire life and will to God was no longer a “nice concept I’d love to try sometime”, it became my deepest desire.
2. Heartbreak felt like refinement
3. Loss felt like alignment
4. Pain became a blessing and I would choose it a million times more, if it brings me closer to Jesus.
5. Obedience to Him became my foundation
6. I realized my career is HIS and I get to glorify Him through it
7. I became GRATEFUL for the years of lessons I never learned from, preparing me for this time in my life.
8. My identity is ROOTED in Christ and I am actively working to remove all idols, distractions and worldly coping mechanisms.
I’m still being refined. Dying to self, daily.
So blessed for the people lifting me up and SO grateful to have been surrounded by love, hands and beautiful prayers on THE coolest day of my life 🙏
