This was my client’s main concern when she came in and it’s something I hear so often.
She didn’t want to look different, overfilled or obvious. She just wanted to recognise herself again and feel less tired when she looked in the mirror.
On assessment, she already had good cheek volume, so adding more there would have been unnecessary and could have changed her face. Instead, what I noticed was early mid-cheek volume shift, known as a malar split where the fat pad starts to descend with age, creating separation and heaviness. By carefully restoring support here, we softened that tired look without adding volume.
Her lips had also lost a little volume since previous treatment, so we refreshed them subtly to restore shape and softness — nothing exaggerated, just balanced. Finally, we treated the pre-jowl area to improve lower-face support and smooth transitions along the jaw.
In total, 4.4ml was used — only where volume had been lost.
The result is a face that still looks completely like her, just fresher, brighter and more rested ✨

School was never my thing.
I was badly bullied,moved schools in my final year, failed most my GCSEs, never did A-levels. My parents weren’t encouraging there was no “you’ve got this” or support behind me.
I tried beauty college after school lasted two weeks then went straight into dead-end jobs. So let’s just say academia scared the hell out of me for most of my life.
But this career… nursing… it was something I really wanted. And with more life experience under my belt, I finally thought:
Let’s see what I can get away with.
And somehow, year by year, step by step I kept going.
I cried more times than I can count.
I showed up tired, overwhelmed, anxious.
I doubted myself constantly. I dealt with difficult people and hard placements.
But I didn’t quit.
And now, five years later I’ve done it.
Degree complete.
Even though the NHS has no jobs right now and the future feels a bit uncertain…
