Cinder is a total passenger princess, she will fall asleep almost instantly and nap the whole drive. On road trips she will fully nap for 15 hours at a time (with pee breaks of course).
Laszlo loves to backseat drive, he likes to stand on the console or have his nose out the window and get all the views / sniffs.

We’ve been experiencing some spring weather here for the past couple of weeks and he couldn’t be more happy about it.
The mix of having snow but being able to go out in a light coat has been the perfect winter combo. Although, I’m sure the -20° days are coming back soon. 🫣

Laszlo loves the snow when it’s not too cold and otherwise thrives in the fall weather. Cinder somehow does amazing in the coldest of cold weather but she also loves the summer heat.

I’ve been avoiding posting snowy pics because winter lasts SO LONG here and I tend to get bored after a few months of seeing snow on my feed. So I’ve been holding off on posting anything snowy, but I loved how wild the dogs got yesterday on our hike and just had to post it. 😆
I love to let them run wild and have fun. Whether it’s letting Cinder hunt in the snow, letting Laszlo sprint away from us to just stop and wait 5 seconds later, or let a full on wrestling match take place. It’s fun to let them do their thing.

We spent a little under a week there in the fall and did a few hikes but most notably we did the Moose Lake loop at Maligne Lake over 5 times.
Why you may ask? Dog dad lost his 😅
We ended up doing to trail so many times and not finding the ring, BUT we saw enough moose that it stopped being exciting. By the third loop I think I had seen 5 moose. 🫎
Have you ever lost something on a trail and had to hike over and over to find it? Would you have given up and cut your losses??
