I figured since my birthday trip to Cozumel at 0ft was cancelled 7 hours before getting on my flight (thank you Mother Nature) then I might as well spend it at 14,060ft on the summit of a 14er here in Colorado... Mount Bierstadt to be exact!

I mean who wouldnβt want to spend a morning battling 50+mph winds and temps less then -15π€·π»ββοΈ.... talk about two extremes of the spectrum!! But even though I wasnβt sitting on a beach reading a book listening to the waves and drinking a mojito I loved every grueling step I took to get to the summit with two amazing friends!!! Itβs all about perspective.....

Located just southwest of Leadville, Colorado is the home to Mount Elbert and the highest point in the state at an impressive 14,433ft at its summit!!

I finished the summer/fall 14er season summiting Pyramid Peak 14,018ft located near Aspen, CO.... with 19 unique peaks and 1 repeat I can say I definitely made my goal of 20 peaks in 2020!!
