At Al Warraq Book Fair, Abu Dhabi Royal Equestrian Arts draws from the history of Arab publishing and honours the tradition that helped shape it.
We chose Al Warraq as the title of our fair in tribute to a profession that stood at the centre of a long chain of Arab contributions to the production and sharing knowledge. From the great Arab cities, this journey began with paper, ink, and an unmatched devotion to the beauty of Arabic calligraphy.
Today, that legacy gives its name to our fair.
