2016 from the outside, it looked like I was living the dream—teaching in new countries most weekends, on stages, in shoots, flying the flag for a bunch of big brands. Social media made it all look shin an sure, some of it was great. But under the surface I was worn thin.

I went close to 200 days straight without a real day off. Fly out late Friday, teach all weekend, land late Sunday, and be back in class Monday morning like nothing happened. A relationship was slowly falling apart. My dad was dying.

The things that used to keep me grounded outside of yoga - reading, photography, boxing, lifting—had quietly disappeared.

Everything was about doing more, teaching more, pushing more. And I couldn’t really tell you why—other than momentum.

Becoming a dad has reset all and my purpose in life feels clearer than eve. This doesn’t mean I’ve figured everything out or am rolling in objective success…. I’ve just worked out what really matters to me.

I share everything I’ve learned in my path in my Level Up programmes and 1:1 mentoring and coaching. From me a lone below and i’ll drop you some details if you want to tap in to my experience

Whatever you teach—whether it’s yoga, movement, or anything else—clarity matters. A lot.

That doesn’t mean don’t be your professionally-authentic self. It means being intentional with your words. Speak concisely. Give space for students to hear, understand and then map what you’re saying onto their own bodies.

Avoid saying everything without really saying anything. And perhaps most importantly—only teach what you truly understand.

Dig deep into effecting, accessible cuing with me in my teaching CPDs in Europe an online.

None of us are finished.
That’s kind of the point.

It’s why I’ve sat down with 136 people on the Honestly Unbalanced podcast by — teachers, founders, athletes, meditators, and friends — not because they’ve “figured it out,” but because they’re willing to speak honestly from the middle of it.

No curated calm.
No perfect answers.
Just real conversations about how we actually live, practice, stumble, and keep going.

If you’re curious, questioning, or quietly tired of surface-level self-help — you’ll feel at home here. Check out the latest episodes with

You’d think it goes without saying, but just to shout to the back row: a public, drop-in class—especially savasana—is ideally not your content creation opportunity.

This is the moment students are at their most open, most vulnerable, most human. Eyes closed. Nervous systems settling. They’re paying for a personal practice of self inquiry, not to be backdrop in someone else’s highlight reel.

And while we’re here—I’m all for leaving savasana undisturbed. No lyrical music, no TED Talk from the front of the room. Just space. Maybe a gentle nudge toward stillness or music to soften the noise form outside, but where possible … let silence do the work.

This isn’t an escape. It’s a recalibration.
This isn’t a retreat to escape your teaching life.
It’s a pause to look at it properly.

Your classes
Your energy.
Your why.
The stuff you don’t have time to question
when you’re rushing between classes.

Movement. Conversation. Quiet.
And the kind of clarity that sticks

A weekend for teachers who want to feel
steady again — not reinvented.

Yoga isn’t just about the physical body, but while we practice asana and use our physical body as a vehicle for self inquiry, we may as well do it in a way that is safe, sustainable and informed by contemporary understanding of the body.

If you want to connect to something deeper than yourself, remember one of the most tangible parts of the universe we have access to, is our bodies.
