Zezu has recently opened a new branch in Wallasey & we went down to check it out! I was super excited for this as I’ve heard good things about Zezu.
We tried the new Zee Box, which is absolutely fantastic option, for someone who wants a bit of everything! I loveddd that there is lots of vegetarian options, non-meat eaters can indulge (great, right?!).
The Zee Box is basically a build your own box with a choice of 1 main, 2 sides, an option of rice or noodles, curry sauce, 2 dips & a can of your choice! This is only £19.99, which is a bargain, in my option, this could easily feed 2 or more!
We opted for;
▪️Paneer fusion (main) - I was advised this is quite spicy, I asked for it to be a little more mild, it had a little kick to it, it was tasty!!
▪️Egg fried rice - perfectly cooked!
▪️Salt & pepper chips (side) - yummy!
▪️Vegetable spring rolls (side) - a must, loved dipping the spring rolls into the sauces!
▪️Curry sauce - I’m a real curry lover, this was goood, really thick 🤤
▪️Diet Coke
We also got a side of vegetable noodles, they were moreish, super flavoursome & a little spicy.
We were stuffed after the feast, though, we did manage to have room for dessert 😅. We ordered the cheesecake, it was amazing - light, creamy, fresh & delicious.
I genuinely would re-order the whole meal again, the food is quality, staff are lovely & really helpful, ensuring your preferences are met!
Zezu is also located in Lodge Lane & Anfield, go & check them out next time you’re craving a Chinese!

We were kindly invited down for breakfast at & it truly did not disappoint — in fact, we left seriously impressed.
We went for the Serpme Breakfast for two, which includes; boiled eggs, fried eggs, menemen, cucumber, tomatoes, honey, butter, Turkish sucuk, hellim, cheese plate, black & green olives, spring roll, spinach & cheese borek, Nutella, jam, simit, pogaca, & a pot of tea (the meat options were taken out due to being a vegetarian).
Priced at £40 for two, this is genuinely excellent value in my opinion. It’s an absolute feast — you won’t be going home hungry. Everything is fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented.
I honestly loved every dish, my favourite was the spinach & cheese borek — light, flaky, and so moreish. The menemen was another highlight, packed with flavour and perfectly cooked.
Drinks were really good, we tried both Turkish tea & coffee, I have never tried either before, I really enjoyed them.
Our waiter kindly brought us over some freshly made lemon & raspberry lemonade, this was incredibly refreshing!
The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout, regularly checking if we needed anything. The service really elevated the whole experience.
Overall, the food, drinks, and hospitality at was fantastic, and I’m already wanting to go back to try their daytime menu.
Breakfast is served from 9am–3pm — definitely worth a visit if you’re in Liverpool. 😍

The team have created a range of sensational new cocktails, that are unique, lush & beautifully presented.
We opted for;

▪️Tropical Hippo No.5 (Takamaka Blanc, Veritas Rum, Cachaca, Strawberry, Balsamic, Honey, Absinthe, Peychauds).
▪️Fashion Is My Passion (Marshmallow infused No. 3 Gin. Passionfruit Sherbert, Cream, Whites, Schweppes Tropical Soda).

Fresh Pineapple, Angostura, Lime).
▪️Irish Coffee (Redbreast 12, Demerara, Muscovado, Peruvian Coffee Blend, Caramel Cream, Nutmeg).

We were kindly invited to disco afternoon tea at recently!
is set by the three graces with the most beautiful view of the Liver Building. Inside, Oh Me Oh My, is absolutely stunning; classy & elegant.
Twinkle Afternoon Tea features delicious fresh sandwiches, homemade cakes, pastries & fluffy scones.
As a vegetarian, I loved how accommodating the team were. All of the sandwiches & pastries were closely matched to the non-vegetarian options & they were delicious! 🤤
The afternoon tea also came with a choice of prosecco or pink Prosecco, we opted for pink & it felt like a nice touch to the whole experience!
We attended to the disco themed afternoon tea - the team have reimagined the traditional afternoon tea experience, adding a lively twist by pairing indulgent sweet treats with disco vibes at their Disco Afternoon Tea, held on select dates throughout the year.
Staff were so friendly & welcoming, our waitress went through the extensive, yet very impressive range of loose leaf tea, with great knowledge! It was tough choice, however, we opted for;
▪️Pear drops iced tea
▪️Strawberry & kiwi iced tea
▪️Passion fruit orange iced tea
I couldn’t pick a favourite tea, they were all great. I absolutely love Leaf tea leaves, it is such a fantastic range & they all taste lush!
It’s safe to say, this is one of the best afternoon tea’s I have been to, all of the food was fantastic, the whole experience was great, I genuinely couldn’t fault it. I will definitely be back & would recommend to anyone!

We recently went down to Three Piggies on Allerton Road, to try their brand new menu, serving from midday to 7:30pm.
The menu had lots of choice, it was really impressive!
For mains, we ordered;
▪️Fish & chips - the batter was light & crispy 😍
▪️ Cheese & onion pie, hand cut chips, peas & gravy - I never order a pie but this was lush & such a warm comfort meal! 🤤
Both dishes were incredible & hugee, you could never leave hungry! I would genuinely re-order them again!
For desert, we ordered;
▪️Banoffee sundae - if you love banana’s, you’ll absolutely love this dish!
▪️Raspberry Eton Mess
Three Piggies offers a great selection of drinks from delicious cocktails, seasonal beers, cask ales, wines, teas and coffees. We opted for;

Three Piggies provides a warm, cosy & welcoming vibe & it’s a lovely establishment for brunch, lunch & dinner, with a range of fabulous dishes to chose from! It is open 7 days a week with a full Sunday roast service (we seen the roasts being served while we were there & I got fomo - they looked devine - i must go back & order one!!).
Speed Quiz is held every Wednesday eve and Jukebox Fridays with Three Piggies’ band playing requests

Popped into Anna’s for a sweet treat, all of the bakes looked insane 🤤. We finally chose the biscoff blondie & white chocolate stuffed cookie - both were delicious 😍
The white chocolate stuffed cookie was jam packed with thick chunks of white chocolate & there was even milk chocolate inside, making the combination devine 🤤
The biscoff blondie was moreish, a great balance of sweetness, both bakes were fresh!

I’ve been wanting to visit here for ages & I finally got the chance to - it was superb!
It was a tough choice between ordering a pizza or pasta dish, however, I was swayed towards pasta, as you can pick what type of pasta you would like & the sauce, the range was extensive! I love when establishments provide you the option of choosing the pasta type, instead of the standard pasta shapes!
We opted for;
▪️Paccheri pasta in homemade pesto sauce - I loveee pesto, it was delicious!
▪️Tagliatelle arrabbiata - amazing, there was even fresh tomato’s in the dish - lots of flavour!
▪️garlic bread - this was a real winner - garlicy, light & moreish!
Both of the pasta dishes were incredible, they tasted really fresh, we would absolutely order the same dishes again - the quality of the food is insane!
I genuinely can’t wait to return & try a pizza!

is back for its second season in Cains Brewery Village. It is Liverpool’s margarita mecca, street-food hotspot & Latin house party!
There are some insane new drinks and dishes to try - with a huge range of tequilas, classic & bespoke cocktails and Mexican beers, as well as a fantastic choice of light bites & sweet treats.
For drinks, we ordered;
▪️classic margarita
▪️Tommy’s margarita
▪️raspberry & peach woo woo (this was my fav, it was really refreshing!).
▪️mexican wave
All the drinks were delicious, I could have ordered so many drinks off the menu, they all sounded stunning.
For food, we opted for;
▪️Nachos & dips (the dips were lush!).
▪️Crunchy corn
▪️Chicken tacos (moreish with lots of filing 🤤).
▪️Mushroom birria tacos (had a kick to it, delish! 😋).
▪️Elote corn ribs - this was my fav, the waitress recommended this & I can see why, it was incredible, such a fab dish!
▪️Padron peppers
There wasn’t a single dish I didn’t enjoy, all of the food tasted fresh & each dish was filled with flavour!
Staff were lovely & had great knowledge about the food & drinks.
Cocktail Kate’s Margarita Masterclasses are running every Saturday, there are brand-new Tequila Tasting Fridays and Picante’s roof terrace is ready for the season.
