I’ve been there so many times, and I’ve realized those thoughts don’t serve you—they hold you back more than you know. Surfing is as much mental as it is physical.
Progress can feel slow, and sometimes it feels like you don’t belong… but you do. You are good enough, and you belong in the line-up.
It’s so easy to compare yourself to other surfers, online or in person. Surfing is tough—one of the hardest things I’ve ever learned—kind of like running a business. It’s not easy, there are high risks, and you put in thousands of hours before you see results.
So if you’re feeling not good enough today, just remember: you are. 🫶🏼

It’s hard to explain in one DM, post, or video — which is why I decided to host a FREE live content creation webinar with my friend and fellow travel creator,

My life hasn’t always looked like surfing and traveling the world like you see on social media. Before this, I worked jobs I didn’t love, saved every dollar, quit… traveled… then did it all over again. I kept chasing this “freedom” I saw online, without really knowing how to make it my reality.
Everything changed when I started posting content 🤳🏽
My life didn’t change overnight — but after a few months of consistent posting and hard work, I landed my first paid UGC opportunity. In that moment, I knew this was my way out. Fast forward almost 2.5 years later, and content creation is now my full-time job ✨
I went through a lot of trial and error. I hired coaches, invested in mentors, talked to countless creators, and spent years (and thousands of dollars 💸) figuring out how to actually make an income from content.
Now I want to give back to the audience who made this life possible — and help others experience this same freedom 🤍
If you’ve ever wanted to learn about content creation, how people actually make money from it, and how to start without a big following, you won’t want to miss this.
Sarah and I will be breaking down exactly how content changed our lives, how we now travel full-time 🌍, and how we help other creators do the same.
You’ll also be able to ask us questions live, and we’ll walk you through what you need to start making money from content — without the mistakes we made 🙏

I never planned on becoming a content creator — it honestly started as a way out.
Back in 2017, I was about $30K in debt, working random jobs, and completely unsure of what I was doing with my life. I had a “safe” plan laid out… but the closer I got to it, the more I realized I didn’t even want that life.
I was happier bartending on the beach than I ever was chasing a 9–5 with two weeks of vacation.
So I asked myself: what if I just didn’t stop?
At 24, still broke and overwhelmed, I stumbled into yachting. It was the hardest job I’ve ever done — but it paid off my debt and gave me the freedom to start fresh. That freedom pushed me to figure out how to make money online.
I started creating content, landing UGC deals, and working with brands long before I had a big following. And here’s the truth most people don’t hear:
You do NOT need huge numbers to make money as a creator. Brands care about strong content, creativity, and connection — not follower count.
Fast forward to now, I’ve worked with 50+ brands, made thousands of dollars, and built a business that lets me work from anywhere and design a life around travel, surf, and freedom.
A few months ago, I hosted this masterclass with and it was such a hit that we decided to bring it back.
So if making content and earning from it is one of your goals this year, we’re hosting a FREE live masterclass on Jan 11 where we’ll teach you exactly how we did it.
We’re breaking down: • The fastest-growing creator opportunity for 2025 • Our 5-step system to land consistent, retainer brand deals • The limiting beliefs keeping most creators stuck

This year felt like the payoff of years of showing up, even when progress was slow and the outcome wasn’t clear. There were lows, but even more highs — and so many moments that reminded me how lucky I am to be living this life.
Grateful for the new friendships, for running into old friends in the most unexpected corners of the world, for spontaneous surf trips, and for my first full year working entirely for myself. Grateful for dreams that turned into reality, and for moments that left me in awe of my own life.
If this year taught me anything, it’s that you really do create your own reality. Keep chasing the things that light you up. You’re capable of more than you think.
Thank you, 2025. I’m ready for what’s next 🌊✨
I share my life online not to brag, but to inspire. To show that you too can create the life of your dreams… but it comes with a lot of sacrifice.
My life hasn’t always been full of traveling the world, surf trips, or living in a bikini.
It’s taken years of hard work, discipline, and uncomfortable growth to get where I am — and I’m still not exactly where I want to be.
I’ve spent years in therapy working on my mental health, changing my patterns, and rewiring my mindset. I’ve invested thousands of dollars into mentors, coaches, courses, and books.
And I’ve lost people along the way. There were times I had no one to lean on except my family.
When you grow and change — the people around you do too.
We all go through hard times, but that’s what makes the reward so worth it.
Maybe you want to live this lifestyle — and who’s to say you can’t?
Just know it didn’t come without sacrifice, resilience, loneliness, discomfort, delusion, and a lot of self-belief.
Shift your mindset. Stop seeing others as competition and start seeing them as living proof that you can do it too.
If you want to change your life, start with your mindset and your relationship with yourself.
It’s a long journey, but it’s worth every step. Don’t give up — everything good in life takes time, and comes with its lows.
I used to stare at maps, dreaming of exploring. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, where I was on skis as soon as I could walk. It’s a beautiful place, full of nature—but deep down I always knew that wasn’t the life meant for me.
So I left, and I traveled every single chance I got. After graduating university, I was $30,000 in student loan debt with only $3,000 in my account. While everyone else was starting their careers, I thought: I might as well explore while I still can.
That one-way flight to Australia changed everything. I realized I never wanted to return to a life that never felt like mine, so I just kept going—working odd jobs, making money however I could, and seeing as much of the world as possible.
I surfed along the way, but it wasn’t a priority. I wanted to try everything—sailing around the world, working on farms, hiking mountains. But eventually I realized something important: I feel like the best version of myself when I’m surfing in the tropics. And if I really wanted to get better, I needed consistency.
Money was another challenge. I started my first business chasing freedom, but eventually shut it down to pursue social media full-time. I had been traveling the world for six years without posting a single thing about it—until TikTok came along.
At first, I shared travel content. But about a year ago, I realized I didn’t want to post about everything. What I really wanted to share was my surf journey. I didn’t see people like me represented—the ones who started later in life, who grew up landlocked, who struggle, fall, and get back up again. The real, raw side of surfing. So I started sharing it—and it took off.
Now, at 30 years old, I get to live where I want, surf when I want, and make an income from my phone—all because I was just crazy enough to follow my gut. I kept saying yes. I didn’t care what others were doing; I stuck to my own path.
Who’s to say you’re too old or too late for anything? Only you.
As cheesy as it sounds you only live once, so you might as well go for it. Who know what could happen…
You were beautiful, but damn, you were hard.
I spent 10 years wandering, testing, failing. Questioning if I was on the right path.
I turned 20 in Chile—where I first surfed, became fluent in Spanish, and learned about working holiday visas. It cracked open a life I didn’t know was possible.
I’ve struggled—with self-worth, feeling enough. I hit rock bottom before 27 and knew something had to change.
I haven’t lived in one place for more than six months in my 20s. Traveled to 45 countries. Lived in over 10. Had my heart broken—not just by people, but by dreams that didn’t work out.
I gave up stability for a lifestyle. Saved every dollar, skipped material things, bought plane tickets instead.
Lived in a van, worked on a farm, lived on a superyacht, trekked Patagonia. Started over more times than I can count.
Through all the trial, the deep inner work, I’ve come to know myself. And honestly? I didn’t know what I truly wanted until last year.
I used to fear getting older—thinking life would slow down, I wouldn’t be as attractive, things would get harder. None of that has been true.
When you know yourself, you know your worth. You know what you want. And that’s everything.
I know because I’ve tried a million things. And when something isn’t working, I change it—job, place, relationship. Failure isn’t the enemy. It’s the best teacher.
I started posting on TikTok at 28. Fully committed to surfing at 27. You are never too old to start over, move countries, or rewrite your story.
To my younger self—the girl who felt lost, unloved, hopeless—keep going. You are more loved than you know.
Thank you for not giving up. For chasing our dream when it felt impossible. For tuning out the voices that said, You can’t do that.
Because of you, I get to live the life we once only dreamed of.
I didn’t always love you, but now? I adore you. 💛
