Let's dig into the video a little.
I wanted my first release to pay homage to all the people and experiences I had that paved my path. So I used footage from me camera roll! This ranged from a just for fun impromptu flash mob singing 'trading my sorrows' in a train, sliding down a 'not so secret' staircase in college amongst other shenanigans, travels as a musician to places I can't believe I got to visit, my first ever drum video, music competitions, cooking and hangs with friends, my tiny stint as a guitarist for Mtvs Angels of Rock (yeah bet you didn't know I did that) all the bands and collaborations I've been a part of, little mini side quests, gigs that changed me, maybe you'll notice I used a twig as a capo coz almost every guitarist needed a capo before they learned how to play barre chords, in addition to these beautiful shots at multiple tekdis around Pune where I now live <3 most importantly documenting my growth as an 'aarifah'.
And finally a little bit of the process behind the artwork for Now She Knows (because I was too proud of it to not include it). It's been a wild trip and I can't wait to share more.

Yep you read that right. My second release is here!!!!
This was kinda harder than the first. Mostly because it's easy to start (LOL).
Essentially the bar hasn't been set for the first, then Mr. Perfectionism shows up and is all like 'yo, this needs to be better than the last song in all aspects'. I should've paid no heed, but it's easier said than done because I genuinely crave growth. I love learning lessons and witnessing shifts in perspective, especially my own.
This song is kinda about that. About going through heartbreak, learning that nothing can protect me from it, and then realising that "every single detail, had it's part to play, in meeting you..."
Especially when it's tough to keep trying. Serendipity is magic.
