My son will be sleeping in a bedside bassinet in my room throughout the newborn stage. Once he outgrows the bassinet (ours is pretty big so it can up to 6 months old), heāll be sleeping in the floor bed in his own room.
For naps though, the floor bed can be used right off the bat!
Iāve heard so many parents sharing how amazing their experience has been with a floor bed, and as someone who used a floor bed with my first born from 8 months old, I canāt recommend it enough! š¤š½
