For the longest time I believed financial independence looked “simple” ….a stable job, a savings account, playing it safe ✅
But the day I stepped away from that version of life… I realised it actually means something WAY bigger.
It means FREEDOM.
Waking up somewhere new 🌍
Making choices without asking permission.
Building a life that feels like *yours* 😍
Because earning your own money isn’t just about shopping or “treating yourself” 💸
It’s about unlocking a life you don’t have to request from anyone.
It’s about deciding: I’m starting NOW. Not “someday.”
My start wasn’t glamorous… one trip to Himachal, a tiny salary, and one decision:
I’m done waiting for the “right time.” 🔥
And slowly… that one decision turned into this life ✨
If I could build this from ZERO, you can too. I really mean that 🧡

there’s something about being somewhere really beautiful with someone you love and staying your way that just makes everything feel a little more alive 🥹
Engelberg in the Swiss Alps, staying in this was that for us 💕
Long hikes, meals we cooked together, evenings curled up watching the mountains straight from our window, and a whole lot of nothing in the best possible way!!
Moreover, Our had the most GORGEOUS light coming through every morning and Lake Eugensee just a short walk away for when we needed to feel even more like we were dreaming 🏔️
Honestly I didn’t know how much I needed it...

Julian and I spent a month living in Tokyo so you don’t have to figure it out the hard way 🗾
EVERYTHING you need to know before you go 👇🏼
✅ Indians need a visa for Japan/Tokyo but it’s easier than you think, apply for the eVisa online through VFS, single entry tourism up to 90 days, processing is about 5 working days 🙌🏼
✅ get an eSIM before you leave home, Saily and Holafly are the best picks, connected from the moment you land
✅ never tip in Japan, it’s genuinely considered offensive, good service here is just the standard 😬
✅ coin lockers at every train station let you store your bags and explore hands free, pay with your Suica card
✅ October is the best month to go, cool weather, fewer crowds and none of the Golden Week chaos 🍂
WE turned that month into the One Stop Tokyo Guide 😍
100+ spots mapped by area, downloadable maps, 3 & 5 day itineraries, veg restaurant map and full survival kit❤️

I thought people were exaggerating about Bhutan flights until I actually did it…Here are some things the internet DOESN'T tell you! 👀
Monsoon season = bumpier flights, so October & November are usually the clearest months to fly 🌦️
Bhutan is one of the only carbon-negative countries in the world. Plus, The country is super beginner-friendly for first-time international travellers from India😭
Also pro tip: always book the LEFT side window seat while flying Delhi → Paro 👀
and the best part? I tracked price drops for this route on instead of checking fares manually every day and it honestly made booking SO much easier 🥹 With their drops feature I coould get early updates on the best offers available right on my phone.
So what are you waiting for?
Share this with your gang and plan your trip to Bhutan NOW!🙈

What makes you feel alive?
In 2017, I had one goal: land a consulting job, make good money, and call it success.
And I did exactly that.
But somewhere between the spreadsheets and the late nights, I started feeling this quiet kind of dread. Like I was playing a role that everyone else had written for me. The conventional path looked right on paper. It just didn’t feel right in my body.
I was scared to leave. I had worked so hard to get there. People expected this of me. This was what success was supposed to look like.
But I was also deeply, quietly unhappy.
So I started creating travel content on the side. Not as a plan. Just as something that made me feel alive again. And slowly, that small thing became the only thing I actually looked forward to.
When I saw a little bit of growth, I gave it everything. Quit my job. Bet on myself.
And here I am.
This isn’t me telling you to quit your job. It really isn’t. But if something inside you feels off, please don’t ignore it. Try things. Keep trying. Until you find that one thing that lights you up, and then figure out how to do more of it, even if just in small doses every day.
You deserve to feel alive in your own life.
Have you ever felt this way?
Tell me your story in the comments. I genuinely want to know.

Huge thank you to for planning the an amazing Mizoram itinerary for me and connecting me with the sweetest female guide - this entire trip felt effortless because of them.
I felt the pure freedom to just exist as a woman in Mizoram. Walking late at night without doing that constant “safety scan” is a feeling I wish every woman in India could have. That comfort comes from a culture built on deep respect.
And this isn’t just about safety; it’s about equality. Mizoram has always been far more egalitarian than most parts of India — and you feel it instantly.
For everything Mizoram, follow. She posts fab, super helpful content and shows you exactly how to explore Mizoram the right way. She’s also extremely kind and hosts beautiful weekend trips! 💗
You must experience Mizoram to understand what a truly respectful and empowering Indian state feels like for women. And the women here? Impeccably dressed. Always. ❤️
Drop a 💪 in the comments if this inspired you to build a more equal society where you live!
