i-ii) clowning around a little. some testing with alcohol markers, probably not going to be using these very much because the page bleed annoys me a little lol. always been a big fan of vintage artworks of pierrot and the commedia dellâarte in general! the concept for self-portrait as pierrot was inspired by zinaida serebriakovaâs piece of the same name.
iii) so the idea for this page was that my watercolor palette was dirty and i wanted to clean it but i didnât want to throw away paint so thatâs what youâre seeing here.

i) inspired by flowers i saw on a walk!! idk they just really reminded me of girls in big dresses or smth
ii-iv) quick sketches from the sf chinatown night market. i did most of these while standing up so it was a little difficult
