This dinner show is totally next-level, mixing art, tech, and tasty food into something unique. You’ll be immersed for about 2.5 hours where every dish tells its own story. It’s a wild blend of colors, shapes, and flavors, all set live on your table through seven amazing art pieces.

Honestly, it’s a bit on the pricey side at $145 per person, but if you’re into art and haven’t tried something like this before, it’s totally worth it! Perfect for a date night or family outing— I had a blast! The food was great but not life-changing, but the way it was presented was definitely worth it.

Hey besties! I finally checked out over on the south side of YEG.
The vibe is super modern and clean, plus the staff are really friendly and attentive while I was there. If you’re rolling in with a crew, the menu is totally shareable. Their food has this different, unique flavor.
Here are my faves:

Miso honey butter glaze (so yummy!)
**ENOKI MUSHROOMS**
Chinese 5 spice and white peppercorn with hoisin aioli (OMG, so good! Perfect with a beer or soju!)
**SWEET N’ SOUR BELLY**
Black sweet and sour sauce, sesame seeds, and salad (definitely pair this with rice—so delish!)
This place is perfect for those late-night cravings or a fun night out with the squad. Tons of shareable plates and drinks, both boozy and not. Plus, they’re open late even on weekdays!

And if you’re into pho, you HAVE to try the Pho Burger while it’s back for a limited time! It’s a house-ground brisket patty topped with pho-spiced mayo, scallions, cilantro, pickled onions, and a kick of sriracha—all for just $14. A little lime on the patty makes it perfection! So tasty.
Trust me, it captures all the amazing flavors of pho, but in burger form. Pair it with the spicy tomato soup for an amazing combo!

Hey besties! I just attended a media event at on Whyte Ave. It’s a new brunch/dessert spot (100 %halal) that started off in the UK, and the vibe inside is aesthetic—perfect for those cute pics!
While the brunch and desserts has potential, there’s definitely room to level up. The breakfast flatbread was probably my fav! The poached eggs were on point, all creamy goodness. And the passion fruit mojito is Super refreshing! Brunch menu is available 9am- 4pm.
The croffles under the fried chicken could have been a bit crispier; I was hoping for that nice crunch. The fried chicken itself also needed a little more crunch. On the bright side, the milkshake was super creamy and tasty! Unfortunately, the matcha latte didn't quite hit the spot; I was expecting a stronger matcha flavor. I’m hopeful they’ll make some improvements soon! 🙂

Hey besties! If you’re into shawarma like I am, you’ve gotta check out the crispy chicken shawarma from! For $21, you get a crispy shawarma with a side of garlic sauce and crispy fries. Honestly, it’s so big you could totally share it—unless you’re super hungry!
This shawarma is seriously delicious! It’s crispy on the outside and juicy and packed with flavor on the inside. Plus, it stays crispy the whole time—no sogginess here! (Swipe left and turn on your sound to hear how crispy it is! Lol 😆)
This was probably the best shawarma I’ve had in a while.
You’ve gotta try it! And right around the corner, there’s El Safadi Mediterranean supermarket where you can grab the best garlic sauce and hummus for a steal!

I recently checked out for my birthday dinner, and it’s a new spot in downtown Edmonton. They’ve got lunch and dinner menus with tasty small plates, run by the same team as.
The place is in the HSBC building and looks amazing inside with dim lights and a really nice dining area.
Here’s what I had! I wasn’t feeling too great, so I skipped the cocktails, but I did try a sip of the margarita, and it was pretty good.
- **Tuna Tartare**: This was awesome! The tuna with avocado purée was light and fresh.
- Ingredients: Avocado purée, ponzu, chili-sesame crumble, wonton chip.
- **Lamb Meatball**: I’m usually not into lamb, but this one was really tasty!
- Ingredients: Ras el hanout, lemon-garlic aioli, toasted pistachio, chili crisp
- **Thai Brussels**: I love Brussels sprouts, but these were a bit too salty for me, probably because of the bacon? 🥲
- Ingredients: Miso glaze, bacon lardon, candied nuts.
- **Pressed Short Rib**: This was my favorite! The short rib was so tender and paired well with the potato pave; it literally fell apart!
- Ingredients: Braised short rib, potato pave, horseradish aioli.
Overall, it’s a cute little spot for a date night—great for sipping cocktails and sharing some bites. I’m excited to try their lunch menu next time!
