Such a small coincidence, yet it felt like one of those images that exist before they are ever photographed.
It remained there, perfectly still, like a bookmark.
Perhaps some books continue to hold what they speak of.
The white lily, traditionally a symbol of purity and devotion, is replaced here by a small bouquet of white roses.
Although they are not part of Saint Anthony's traditional iconography, they carry the same symbolic meaning. Gathered together, they evoke a humble offering a quiet, intimate gesture.

A small confession: I made the lyre myself using cardboard and modeling paste as a base. I later refined it with the help of AI.
Please don't come for me ๐ I think it's worth experimenting from time to time and exploring different creative tools.
Initially I didnโt have any particular inspiration for these photos, but the colors strongly reminded me of Giuseppe Bezzuoliโs Saint Philomena (1840) (last image).

As you know, working with another person is unusual for me, since this is a self-portrait project. On top of that, this was my very first collaboration involving a female presence, so it was a completely new experience for me.
This experience gave me a lot: it pushed me to engage with another presence, different ideas, and a new kind of interaction compared to what Iโm used to, since I almost always shoot alone.
The most beautiful part was building a shared vision together.
And I also think this is the first, or maybe the second, time youโve actually seen my face in my pictures.
