I haven’t seen the water this blue since I was in WA! This absolute gem is found on the Sapphire Coast and has some of the most vibrant turquoise water that you can find in NSW. The water is generally calm and is the perfect spot to swim, kayak, SUP and fish.

🛶 Spend the day swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding in the calm waters - you can even paddle across the river to explore some of the beaches in Beowa National Park
🥾 Explore the Pambula River Walking Track (1km return)
🎣 Try your luck at fishing from the shore
🌳 Grassy foreshore with picnic tables and a small playground
🏖️ Visit the nearby Lions Park Beach which is dog friendly
🚻 Toilets & cold shower near the carpark

Earlier in the year I spent about a week in Victoria on my way home from Tassie. This is one of the few states that I haven’t spent too much time exploring & honestly I didn’t think there was really much to see.. Turns out I was very wrong & I feel like I only just scratched the surface here!

I used to think Victoria didn’t really have much to offer until I finally visited Wilsons Prom! This National Park has everything from incredible beaches to epic sunset hikes and SO much wildlife!! I only got to spend 1 day here so I crammed in as much as possible & it definitely didn’t disappoint!!
Here’s 7 spots you can’t miss ⬇️
1️⃣ Squeaky Beach
The most popular beach in the prom! Famous for its white sand and granite boulders.
2️⃣ Mount Oberon
Tackle this 6.8km return, grade 4 hike for sunset! Starts from the Telegraph Saddle Carpark - allow approx 2 hours.
3️⃣ Picnic Bay
A stunning stretch of coastline!! Don’t forget to check out the views from the lookout before heading down!
4️⃣ Prom Wildlife Walk
Keep an eye out for kangaroos, emus, wallabies & even wombats! Visit around sunset to see the most wildlife!
5️⃣ Fairy Cove
6km return walk from Darby River. Aim to arrive a little after low tide for a dip & enjoy the rockpools
6️⃣ Wilsons Promontory Road
The most iconic view in the park! You’ll find this spot on the main road in just before the turn off to Whisky Bay.
7️⃣ Whisky Bay
An underrated and quiet beach framed by granite boulders.

When I first visited this spot I honestly couldn’t believe I was in Australia! The sandstone cliffs and vibrant turquoise waters honestly made me feel like I had teleported to the coastlines of Greece or Croatia!! Whether you’re snapping some photos or taking on the cliff jump, it’s the perfect spot to visit on a warm day 🌞
Here’s what you need to know ⬇️
📍The Pillars, Mornington Peninsula VIC
🚐 1 hour 15 min from Melbourne
🅿️ There is no parking directly at The Pillars, but you’ll find limited parking on the side of The Esplanade in both directions.
🚶🏼♀️ Walk along the road until you see a path down towards the ocean - I’d recommend looking on google maps so you don’t miss the track
📸 Snap some photos from the top of the cliffs before climbing down
⚠️ Use caution - the sandstone is quite slippery
👙 Enjoy the views or try cliff jumping - keep in mind that it can be difficult to climb back up out of the water
❌ No facilities - remember to take everything with you

Honestly it’s been a crazy year to look back on.. I never would have expected to end up where I did but I am so insanely grateful for everything life has thrown at me this year.
I went through so much change & stepped so far out of my comfort zone, which led me to having some truly epic experiences & meeting some incredible people along the way 🥹

🚙 2 hours north of Sydney and 1 hour 10 min north of the Central Coast

🐚 Continue to the left towards Merewether and check out the rock pools - make sure you do this part of the walk at low tide (1.2km one way)

👙 Cool down with a dip at Merewether Baths or Merewether Beach
🚶🏼♀️ Walk back to your car via scenic drive and turn onto Lloyd Street. You will see a staircase which takes you back to Hickson Street
