I’m not one for jumping on trends, but I was intrigued to re-visit 2016 and what an eventful and significant year that was, so I thought I’d share. It was the year that I moved back to Edinburgh from London to be with my Finnie, finished writing my book, flew solo in Paris, had a solo exhibition, met so many beautiful and talented people I admire, worked in lovely vintage shops, created window displays, got a job in a fine art reproduction studio, always a bts roadie, turned 30 and got engaged in Venice… still missing our precious rooftop garden overlooking the castle, oh such warm and lovely memories 🤍

Be our guest and always check our labels… only the best for you darlings, only the best ♥️ The shoppy shop will be open tomorrow 1-5pm x
When Hugo was born, my world as I knew it had shrunk, but it soon exploded into a Hugo shaped universe which hadn’t stopped morphing into something new since and expanding daily. Words can’t describe how much everything changes, how much everything recalibrates, perceptions, priorities, state of mind, the meaning of being. It’s almost too big to explain… but every single cell in my vessel has been programmed to respond to him 24/7 and we’ve spent every moment of the year quite literally attached. But now, as he’s beginning to take small baby steps towards more independence, (I’ve had to grow another set of eyes at the back
of my head) and I’m having to spend my time masterfully, but I don’t ever really want to be on my phone in front of him. This means that I don’t get the luxury of time to edit a perfect reel or to document a mend, film a restoration or write an eloquent post. Things are just a bit more raw now, a little less polished, a bit more impromptu and bit more real. But just know that, every “free” moment that I get I am still very much working in the background even if I don’t get the chance to show you all the juicy little details and intricacies of my work, the sourcing, the repairs and all the chit chats. I get to dip my toe back into my old life on Saturdays when I’m at the shoppy shop, but the rest of it is still a sleepless whirlwind 🧡
Well… what a lovely little Saturday that was ♥️ The only piccies I’ve managed to take, thank you so much for coming. I’m back with my head buried in the most tedious tax return, but at least I’ve got a wee assistant this year! Start them young…🤓
Looking forward to seeing your lovely faces after a little pause. Beautiful old things will await… and that includes me! I feel like I’ve aged about a decade lately, but onwards we must go and upwards we must look as we couldn’t see the light if there weren’t any shadows ✨🤍✨
A little glimpse into the beautiful chaos that was 2025 and Hugo who is the greatest gift of all ♥️
My world ♥️ 12 years with the big one (happy anniversary my love ) and a whole 1 with the little one. Spent the bells spooning Hugo, hoping that the fireworks wouldn’t wake him. In my culture, they say that the way you spend your NYE is how you’ll spend the rest of your year, so if that’s true mine looks like it will be filled with cuddles 🥰 Happy Hogmanay and a very Happy New Year to you darlings, hope it’s filled with hugs too and people that you love 💋
‘Poor Vintage Things’ is a whimsical daydream exploring colour, character, movement and emotions. We wanted to showcase the beautiful vintage and antique pieces bejewelled by Grainne Morton and studded with Judy Clark’s couture creations. The collection is a gentle nod to Alisdair Gray’s novel ‘Poor Things’ film adaptation and Oscar winning costume design by Holly Waddington. Mine and Misia’s vision was to capture some transitional moments from youthful naïveté to stoic femininity in a playful, poetic and creative way. To help take you on this sensory journey, Finnie has composed an original music score. We hope you’ll enjoy our dream collaboration, we loved every second of it and don’t wish to wake from the slumber ♥️

Well what a massive week that was… I seem to have lost the beginning, middle and the end. There had been editorials, interviews, filmings, magazines, events, new launches, surprises, dinners, friends and a secret birthday trip to Paris (I’m writing this from a plane) ✈️ I just wanted to leave a few special moments here on the grid before I flood the feed with French brocantes, sweet patisseries and chic Parisian scenes. Pinch me please! 🇫🇷Thank you to mon amour Finnie for whisking me away from the busy whirlwind. So for now, let’s start with some piccies from the private launch of the Bella Baxter inspired collection 🧡

P.S: a very special thank you to an army of precious Bellas in my life whom I admire and cherish dearly, you have enriched my life & vintage journey in more ways than words can describe and I love you x
