Here's a breakdown of the process. I ended up using 7 different square sizes and a total of 266 pieces for two curtains.
For the hangers I used 7x30cm straps that I sewed 20cm appart. I didn't hem the curtains because I want to keep adding to them, so just overlocked the raw edges.
If you put all the fabric together, I used 2x4 meters of fabric so this is a GREAT way to get rid of scraps🙊
