As the leading auction house in Poland, DESA Unicum plays an important role in the Polish art market, and for many artists being included in one of their auctions marks a significant milestone. I’m incredibly grateful — and very excited — to be participating for the first time.
The work presented, “Handpicked Dreams,” focuses on the moment of reaching towards something you desire. The detailed hand stretches towards the small red circle, holding the energy of commitment and courage — the point where wanting turns into choosing and taking action.
This painting was made in Japan during the artist exchange that took place last year in Tokyo, capturing a unique blend of focus, movement, and reflection.
