And yes this is actually true Walt Disney was inspired by Neuschwanstein Castle when creating the iconic Disney castle
Located in the south of Germany this fairytale castle looks like it is straight out of a movie
Surrounded by mountains forests and dramatic landscapes it is easily one of the most magical places in Europe
No matter how often you see it it never feels real

Eibsee is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. From the shore you get a perfect view of the Zugspitze which at 2962 meters is the highest mountain in Germany
Coming here early in the morning is necessary if you want to catch those perfect reflections and the best light
But you definitely will not be the only one there 😉

Switzerland is incredibly diverse. These shots were all taken in less than 2 hours which still feels unreal to me.
From capturing a beautiful sunrise near St Moritz to going for a moody walk along a river and then heading all the way up to the top of a mountain.
So many completely different moods and landscapes in such a short amount of time. That is what makes this country so special.

I have visited this castle three times even though I am from the south of Germany and live only 30 minutes away from Neuschwanstein Castle
But every time I am driving through the Ruhr area it is a must stop for me
You park about 20 minutes away and take a short hike to reach the castle always worth it especially in autumn
