Wheewhh., I put my heart on the line and came up short by a little😢. But, I thank God to even have mustarded up the fight and courage to even come back this season let alone these last 4 years. I thank God for my mental and physical toughness all these years to navigate a sport I never wanted to be in, but one that God saw fit for me to be in🥺. Truly a god season🦋 this year and god career✨for me because he has showed up my entire career. Made 2 more USA teams🇺🇸 this season, 2x Olympic Trials Semi-Finalist and still a 2x Medalist to end my career🥇🥈
This one was for the single mothers like my mom once was, for those who have had anxiety in anything in there life like me, for those that have had to be uncomfortable, isolated, or down at any point of your life and thought you wouldn’t or couldn’t get up, for those who may have had a dream you wanted but couldn’t quite finish it, for those that believe in the power of trusting god and yourself, for all my girls and customers at the club✨💕(love y’all the most especially my customers🥹💛 my career would not be possible without y’all seriously😭), all of my past teammates😩and friends🫶🏽AAU / collegiate / professional /my old teachers, and college professors. To my sports therapist Nicole💖💖, family, friends, fans, chiropractors, all of my massage therapists (Denise, Jeff, Sheila) and lastly to my CITY2️⃣5️⃣6️⃣📍 the only 🚀 Rocket city and the best! For every tear I’ve cried and God knows as well my Coach I have CRIED ALOT😭. But for every sacrifice made this year especially, but also over these last 4 years.
Track Career done ✅, Goal not fully accomplished, but on to the next phase of my life🦋🦋✨. From the strip club to the track what a journey and a ride but one God blessed me tremendously in both, the overflow from both is one I cry about still! To my COACH and JON thank you from the bottom of my heart🥹❤️ for not only putting up with me, but having unwavering belief in me always, but most importantly never giving up on me since college all the way until now! Number one I’ve never competed on this track in my time of being at Arizona so it felt good to finally run at the school I graduated from🥹. Learning and growing each race🦋 and this one went well. After 5 years got to also see my Family away from home when I was in Arizona😭💖🫶🏽. Next up, World Relays✨💙❤️🇺🇸
My second mom pictured on the slides” sent me this before my race. Na’Asha, Every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17). Everyone is there to win, but only one will obtain the prize. Go and run to WIN (1 Corinthians 9:24)”🙏🏽. I did win overall, but running a solid race with them in the stands meant more🫶🏽🥹😍.
It hit different when you get it out the mud. Put that hurt and pain into perfecting my gift now we rolling and forward we move🦋✨. Happy with my race outcome but more work to do💪🏽➡️ (race at the end)

Somehow track was never in my plans for myself but was always Gods plan for me, because he has always continued to show up for me on this journey. When you just let go and let God, and fully trust and rest in that he will blow your mind because my race from this weekend was a pure reflection of that. Two years ago, on this same world stage I didn’t run to my fullest potential at all and missed getting a medal by a spot but fast forward to my 2nd Indoor World Team with USA 🇺🇸 and I’m leaving a World Silver Medalist🥈🌍and I couldn’t even be more grateful and happy with my performance overall. I have not been this calm, relaxed, poised, and confident in who I am and what I can do going into a race in a long time and to God be all the Glory🙏🏽🥹 ✨✨. I finally redeemed myself 2 years later and every one that truly knows me and my journey and the way I’ve suffered with very bad anxiety with track over the years since high school, college and on and off professionally.
Even though my final indoor season did not go as planned and it was my first time ever not medaling at a USA indoor championships in my career we ending on a high note🦋. I can say I’ve finally got back to me😌💕💖and I’m so excited for how God is going to finish my final and last outdoor season with this track thing as we gear up to make this Olympic Team in Paris. BIG Thank you to my Coach🫶🏽 he is truly the best coach in the world❤️, my weight trainer Jon💛 who really is the glue to this whole thing, and then my family💕, friends🫶🏽, supporters, my hometown, and my now Weber Family💟🐾 I did what I told them I would. #ForwardweMove🦋✨🦋 #SeeyallOutside💪🏽
