In my village, no one even knew what photography was. No support, no guidance — just me figuring things out on my own.
Every day I used to plan for hours and then ride 3 km on my father’s old bicycle to a sunset point… a place where no one even came. The roads were rough, the path was lonely, and honestly, sometimes even scary.
I carried everything on my back — water, props, tripod… and that cycle chain used to fall off again and again, leaving my hands dirty and bruised. Still, I showed up every single day for 2–3 years.
There were days I had no money — I’ve slept at railway stations, skipped meals, and kept going.
People doubted me. Relatives questioned my parents. No one supported this path.
But I told my father just one thing — “Give me 2–3 years, I’ll make something out of it.”
I wasn’t highly educated, failed my 12th twice, eventually dropped out… but I believed in what I was doing. I put everything on the line.
Slowly, things started changing. I moved to the city, learned more, started travel photography.
Whatever I earned, I gave it back to my family — my sister’s wedding, building our home… that’s when people started realizing maybe I was on the right path.
But for me, it still felt like I had just started.
With growing responsibilities, I stepped into the corporate world in content creation. Today, I’ve built myself to a point where I work closely at a leadership level, learning and growing every day.
Last year, I started working on brand campaigns — completed multiple projects, and still learning because I know there’s so much more to do. I want to create opportunities so others don’t have to go through what I did.
Only a few people truly supported me in this journey — I’ll always be grateful to them.
And today… after handling all responsibilities and 7 years of struggle, I’ve fulfilled one more dream — buying my own bike.
I’m happy. I’m proud. But more than that, I’m hungry.
Because this is not the peak… this is just the beginning.
